Official "I'm tired of Halo 3 hype"

I guess its cool to hate the popular thing, "OMG Halo everyone plays it, its popular it sucks" "Indigo prophecy is so good, im like the only one who played it, it makes me a l337 gamer because i play obscure games" "Halos is so generic"

Well...it wont be called hype, just the rampage Halo fans will go on after the reviews come out.

Another problem with Halo 3 hype is all the people hyping it ever talk about is how much copies its going to sell and how many consoles its going to sell and how its going to boost the 360 Sad thing is they rarely if EVER mention the gameplay. As far as this board goes, the number of anti-halo threads FAR outnumber the pro-halo. If you're sick of hearing so much about halo STOP MAKING THREADS ABOUT IT!

All this Halo 3 hype is driving me up the wall. Post your hate of all the hype here. For the amount of hype its getting you'd think it was this rare first of a kind game that is going to change gaming forever. But you look a little closer and it's just an improved Halo game. It's nowhere near Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy 7, Gran Turismo 1 and the original Halo in terms of raising the bar in gaming. So why is it getting hyped out of this world? To sell consoles. That's the only reason. Reviewers are already saying it plays very similiar to Halo 2 and it appears Bungie is not trying to change too much to keep the original audience happy. I'm so tired of all the "Halo is coming!!11!1!" threads. There is nothing spectaular about Halo 3. It's just another sequel. It doesn't revolutionize it's genre, nor does it raise the bar of gaming. All this hype is created by Microsoft. It's artificial. True gamers are not caught up in it. LBP is the only game I know of that deserves that kind of hypeDarthaPerkinjan
