I concur. Insomniac knows how to use the cell unlike other devs. I expect the actual ingame FPS mode to look better than the teaser. Im also going by the creator (Ted Price) words of RFOM2 leap frogging R&C's graphics like R&c did to RFOM1. This game will be on KZ2 level or better graphics.

Hell i'd even go as far to say that R2 will have better graphics then KZ2 because Insomniac will have three games under its belt by the time guerilla will have one.

I'm more worried with graphics passing KZ2 by if they keep lagging. I wonder what Sonys going to show for E3 since Resistance's big reveal in in June?2beers_in_hand

It was the teaser that made H3 even more disappointing to me. I didn't get to see MC's face at all.

it's not cgi... it's probably touched up inengine footage. but it would be BAD cgi if it was... it's not impressive for cgi...at all...

2nd time this generation that I've been blown away by what I've seen on a console system. (killzone 2 was the first)

I bet when lemmings saw this, constantly trying to hype xbox360 to be more powerful than PS3, struggling to convince people that there will no diffrence in games and that anything the PS3 can do the 360 can do yet no games show it, it was another dagger in the heart slapping them back into reality. I imagine for lemmings it must feel...somethig like this!!

Of course. But when you think about what those H3 trailers promised and what was delivered it was very underwhelming.

Where as Resistance actually offered huge hectic battlefields where you could barely stand up without getting shot at. Isn't that what Halo 3 promised? Instead we got the same huge levels with like 10 badguys. And they all ranked up in the same way each time. You always had the brute at the far end with the hammer waiting for ya. It just got predictable. Even in the end the best they could do was throw a bunch of flood running around sort of randomly. Come on now. After all the hype how did they under deliver on that idea?

Funny, I've played and beat it Resistance yet I still think Halo 3 looks superior to Resistance's boring corridors and scopes. I would pick Halo 3 over Resistance, hell, I'd pick Halo 2 and Halo: Combat Evolved over Resistance any day. I just didn't like the game - deal with it.
