Eh, you've got a point. Sheep are just trying to play it on the safe side.sexy_chimp
Well, I suppose you really can't blame them. After all, TP and Corruption got wacky scores here (should've been AAA, both, in my book but whatever, it hardly matters.)
Sheep don't really expect the game to be AA-caliber, they is expect it to be a AAA-caliber game (because it just looks that good, it looks like a AAA game should look pre-release) and superior to Melee in every way. if they didn't it wouldn't be the second most talked about (next to Galaxy) Wii game on this forum. I understand that it's being hyped AA to "play it safe" because of past experiences with huge games (Corruption and TP,) but really, what's the point in that? Why hype anything AAA then, if everyone if so concerned with "playing it safe?"
Also, like I said, the automatic AAA hype for Galaxy (and in my opinion is deserves the AAA hype, don't get me wrong) when the original Mario platforming franchise has more recently had an odd GS rating (compare Sunshine hereto Sunshine GR, and then Melee here and Melee GR) compared to how the Super Smash franchise gets reviewed here..... it just doesn't make any sense that Galaxy gets the automatic AAA hype but the other most highly hyped Wii titles gets AA without question. You almost think people would be more reluctant to hype Galaxy AAA then Brawl based on GS's recent history, especially seeing as Brawl has more development time and full online multiplayer (and that is a huge deal for Nintendo and a game like this.)
Just.... doesn't make any sense to me.
