Agreed. It's the best series in this generation and it will be extremely difficult to forget them. They will always be remembered as a masterpiece that set a new standard in video games.

No. UC is the highest rated game series this gen on meta critic. And Mario just jumps, Drake jumps and climbs and shoots, all at the same time. Mario never does that.

I wish people would stop bringing up Mario Galaxy, that doesn't count. The Wii is a last gen system with last gen graphics, Mario Galaxy is really just a last gen game. So it's meta score doesn't count, this is this gen, not last gen. And UC is the highest rated game series this gen, period. The OoT for this gen.

Looking back at this gen there are so many great games, but only one of them stands out as the gem that shines above the gen. The masterpice, the beautiful symphony, a piece of art for the masses, that not only we will enjoy but our children and children's children will too. Future generations will look back at Unchartedand as a mile stone for gaming, they will be playing the future installments.

I look forward to the day when I can tell my kids that I was there, I was there playing the orgional Uncharted games on the best console of the day, the PS3. I was there when Drake and Elena road their water speeder through mine infested waters. I was there when Drake met Chloe (damn that ass!...lol what? ). I was there when Elena got blown up by Flyn. I was there when Sully saved Drake as kid. I was there through it all.

Uncharted is a classic like OoT, it will go down in history as such. Naughty Dog and Sony are the only one's who could produce such a master pice, and PS3 is the only console that can handle those kind of games.

So let's hear it for the best game of this gen....

....And the best new iconic character that defines this gen, Nathan Drake
