offset software why so silent with project offset??

been waiting for new updates with project offset, they havent released anything new since 2007.

Does anyone actually know if offset software are still alive and developing this game? or have they given up

heres a video of project offset for those who doesnt know the game. link

Chances are Intel (who owns Offset Software) is holding back until Larrabee is near release, so I doubt we'll hear anything until Q1/2 2010 (big E3 showing with a Q3/4 release date would make sense).

I hope its development is still going strong... I have very high hopes for this game, and the technology behind it.

wait to hear more as larrabee pushes closer to production since theyre kinda hand and hand now that intel owns offset and its only on the pc

I just really want to know if Larrabee is going to be worth all the hype. I've read up on lots and lots of forums and there are lots of people on each side of the fence; those who think its not going to match what Nvidia and ATI release this year let alone next and those who think it will be a revolution in GPUs. It's interesting to say the least.

It will be a revolution. Linear scaling is what matters most.

The main site and the forums are quite busy. There are contests and stuff, but it's not a full-blown marketing campaign. there is enough time for that.
