I know its already taken over in sales, but I think we're on the cusp of a big shift of the market towards the Wii.

Wii winning NPD in december software sales is BIG.

Square Enix saying Wii is one of their main platforms is BIG.

Factor 5 leaving Sony for Nintendo is BIG.

Crysis coming to Wii is BIG.

Kid Icarus coming to Wii is BIG

Contra 5 coming to Wii is BIG

Monster Hunter 3 coming to Wii is BIG

The Wii is already the best selling of the latest generation of consoles.

the wii is the biggest joke since the atari jaguar and thanks to little kids and parents who are scared of GTA it is the hottest console of all time. i know that some sheep are true die-hard nintendo fans and i do respect alot of them.its you fake sheep like surfer that give nintedo fans a bad name.

to me the wii is the perfect 2nd console or party machine. but nobody should pick it ahead of the 360, PS3, or even the PS2.

none of that is all that great. just like trauma center and strikers...over-rated.prodiqy32

It may not sound like much, they're just examples of how third party devs are going to be taking the Wii more seriously. Trauma Centre and Mario Strikers isn't the best support... Resident Evil 4, Medal of Honor Heroes 2, Resident Evil UC and of course Zack and Wiki are much better. But 2007 isn't the subject at hand, that's over and my point is 2008 will be much better in terms of quality from third parties.

Square Enix? Meh. They need to get their act together fast. they are making way too many FF and Kingdom Hearts offshoots and hardly any of them are good.

Monster Hunter...Meh. It will do good in Japan and die on the vine everywhere else.

Look, The Wii is doing fantastic, props to Nintendo, but the games people are hyping......there's got to be better stuff.

I agree. There really arent any games worth playing. It's innovative, just boring. I beat "Teh big three" Well, I guess If you count Beign able to play through SMG and infinite number of times, each time as a different character, I should be set.

I mean, What was nintendo thinking? We've got Zelda, Mario,Metroid, Paper mario, and I guess I'll count SSBB. THAT IS EVERY SERIOUS TITLE ON THE CONSOLE! you know how many serioud titles are on 360? I'd say that there are at least 60 A+ titles. even PS3 has got nintendo beat. Resistance, Motorstorm, Warhawk, Rachet and Clank, Uncharted.
