[QUOTE="tocool340"]Ever heard of Super Smash Bros: Brawl? How about Sonic and the secret rings? Don't forget the countless multiplat games coming to the Wii. Just because one game has been delayed means they should halt the production of all game releasing for the system........okthenbye1
Why do people keep posting SSB when it's coming out at the end of the year? :| And Sonic could be terrible or good. But it won't be outstanding and definately not a game to buy a Wii for.

*Sigh* please leave.

there is a reason you dont want a wii..   the games dont interest you.  obviously, they interest some of us..

so you dont have to like them..  but please FRAK OFF!   cus youre just annoying.

Since when was Super Smash Bros: Brawl was being selayed until years end? And yet, you dodge the fact that Wii has countless Exclusives and multiplats coming out this year. So whatever. I'm done with you..........

Because Nintendo are planning their franchise releases strategically. We know hardly anything about the game, we know Smash will be online (which is coming later in the year) and it just makes sense for Nintendo to release it at Christmas. :|

Please sheepies. It's common sense. This denial is getting you nowhere. You have blind faith that SSB will be released before Q4 07 but we all know it won't. And until then the only game worth a damn is Paper Mario. Everything else is quick publisher cash-ins, spinoffs and milkage games.

That's because if the Wii wants to win it needs exclusives. Multiplats can be good, but many of the Wii multiplats are just watered down with Wiimote slapped on. And even the good multiplats aren't games worth buying a Wii for except maybe SSX Blur (which is a rehash anyway).

The exclusives just aren't good enough. Having multiplats is good, but you need big games consistantly.

SSX Blur: Rehash
No More Heroes: We know little about it and could be out late in the year since it's releasing in Japan in 07 and will take time to translate.
Disaster: We know nothing about it.
Sonic: Could be hit or miss. Won't be more than low AA anyway.
Godfather: Best on 360, Wii version has PS1 visuals. Watered down port.
Guitar Heroes: No info whatsoever or a release date. Possible rehash too.
RE: Rehash
Pokemon: I played this on N64.
Sadness: Vaporware. No real info.
Heatseeker: Best on PSP, Wii doesn't even have multi and it has terrible visuals.
Sim City: Cute and cuddly junk, I can play this on GC already as Animal Crossing.
Spiderman: Little info.
Manhunt 2: PS2 port. Little info could be good.

The only game worth a damn there is Manhunt 2 which is a PS2 port. Everything else we know little about (blind sheep faith that it'll be good) or is a remake/spinoff/rehash/watered down port. I'm not impressed sheepies. And using VC games is ridiculous. I played those games ages ago, I want real games of today.

I'm not impressed sheepies. And using VC games is ridiculous. I played those games ages ago, I want real games of today.

Exactly what BuryMe said.

I only speak the facts.

So every game that camed out years ago, the games that you insulted and label your insults as fact, your telling me you played every single one of them? It'ds just like Warioware all over again. *But it's teh water down port of teh DS version!!!111!....

No WarioWare is cool. It was built with the Wii in mind and isn't a port from another system like most of the trash in that list is.

Oh, but thats what you all say. Games that don't even seem like it should have a AAA score somehow gets it. And I bet that the games I listed has a even amount of a chance of getting AAA if it happened to Warioware.........

Wow. What am I going to do without Metroid Prime 3? I mean, when I finish the games I'm playing now, what else is there besides Sonic and the Secret Rings (which a lot of people are saying is actually a good game), Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Paper Mario, Super Mario Galaxy, No More Heroes, Mario Party 8, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, Guitar Hero, SSX Blur, Mercury Meltdown: Revolution, Dewey's Adventure, The Godfather: Blackhand Edition, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, Medal Of Honor: Vanguard, Fire Emblem, Sadness, Pokemon Battle Revolution, Bleach, Legend of the Dragon, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, Manhunt 2, Kororinpa, Project HAMMER, and Driver: Parallel Lines, and some games with probably aren't even announced yet? I guess I could go back and get some of the games that are out already that I don't have because I haven't beaten the 6 games I have already (not including Wii Sports). That includes WarioWare, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2, Call of Duty 3, Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam, Metal Slug Anthology, Super Swing Golf, and Elebits. But what else is there besides all those games? There has to be something else... Oh wait, there are the Virtual Console games that I can get for a few bucks each which already has a lot of games, such as Ecco the Dolphin, Golden Axe, Super Star Soldier, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Columns, Gunstar Heroes, Alien Crush, Tennis, Space Harrier II, Military Madness, Super Mario Bros., Super Castlevania IV, Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, ToeJam & Earl, R-Type, Baseball, Urban Champion, Soldier Blade, Gradius, Dungeon Explorer, R-Type III, Xevious, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Mario Kart 64, Contra III: The Alien Wars, Comix Zone, Bonanza Bros, Super Mario World, Vigilante, Gain Ground, Kid Icarus, Kirby's Adventure, and Ice Climber, with many more month's worth of games to come. Yep. You're right. What will I do for games? :|

[QUOTE="okthenbye1"][QUOTE="mtcoola"]1. Is metroid really that big of a system seller?
2. How does a delay=bad?
okthenbye1

The original did sell many gamecubes as it was considered the best game of the year it was released. It drove a more matture audience into buying GCs. And a delay = bad because the good game drought continues.

I would rather have a few decent games coming out with a few amazing ones here and there instead of them being bum rushed like they were the GC games, all the great games were near the beginning and middle of the consoles life.

No Nintendo should have prepared and planned their games more carefully instead of doing a "Gamecube" and having only a few decent games at launch then a year full of shovel ware until the big guns come out a year later. I'd rather have a consistent line-up of AAA games or AA that are original. Not all this shovelware stuff.

If my memory serves me correctly, the 360 had the same drought for almost an entire year.

GRAW and The Elder Scrolls in March (both AAA). Wii has nothing that touches either of those games.

Maybe not in terms of hardcore games, but the Wii is aiming for a different target at the moment. People who have enjoyed Wii Sports will be looking for another casual title, and here is where games like Godfather and SSX come into play. If Nintendo can secure a huge user base by the times these huge hits come around, they will have gotten a huge profit indeed. So while you are correct, there are not many great games out right now, wait and see once a large user-base has been established. The same thing happened with the DS. Besides, there is still about a 1.5 tie in rate with Wii to Zelda, which whether you want to argue it or not, is AAA. The Wii is doing far better than the 360 was at this same time.

Those are your opinions. I am looking forward to those games, and I promise you they will sell. As for Super Smash Bros, the tentative release date is June. We don't know when it will actually come out, but as of now we must assume it will be before Q4.

You can't seriously think Pokemon Battle and Mario Party 8 are going to be games actually worth buying? :| And Disaster we know nothing about. And Sonic could be hit or miss, but it certainly won't be AAA. the Wii has practically no AAA games whatsoever until Q4, it's pathetic.

You can't seriously think we care what you think is worth buying or not? You can't seriously think that Sonic is definitely not AAA material?

You are thinking like a hardcore gamer. Not as a casual gamer. The Wii has plenty of games that will satisfy the average gamer, but we have a few months before some really good titles come out. Garbage nothing, only to you. Over 4 million casuals would disagree with you.
