Plenty of games around $2 to $3. Some of them are AW American Nightmare, Crackdown, Saints Row 2, Madden, ect. PC sales and bargain bins are great for deals. Heck I can even add in the Burger King Xbox 360 game I got for getting a value meal.
10 bones is hte cheaptest iv spent on a game at least a retail one. The game was bionic commando and besides that character the design and story teh gameplay naild it. Kinda sucks we wont see another like it.

In more recent memory, Mario Kart: Double Dash/Zelda: Collector's Edition bundle (which was only released in Europe and I think Japan as well, US never got it) for 7 GBP (which is about $10 US last I checked). Quite cheap for what should cost more being a limited edition (carrying a Collector's Edition that would normally cost $30 US these days) and all.
For standalone games, we got Assassin's Creed II (360) for about 5 GBP.
I got Metro 2033 for free on facebook back in December. Went to a garage yard sale and got Star Wars Rogue Squadron, Star Wars Shadows of the Empire and Star Wars Episode I Racer (all 3 games on the N64) for $2 each
Although I'm not sure if I could say getting Virtual Console Games on Club Nintendo "Free" since you have to buy something first to get that game "Free".
If there has to be value in it. I did get Age of Empires 3 complete for $.10.
The $.10 was also free from Microsoft from just signing on to Bing so yeah I technically got that for free too.
