Ok, question. im sitting here with two unopened games......

GOW 3 and Bayonetta, two of the most awesome games of the year so far......which one should i play first?

I'd say Bayonetta.

God of War probably since it's slightly shorter.

God of War since Bayonetta is better, and if you play Bayonetta first you wouldn't be able to complete GoW out of sheer boredom.

Depends what version of Bayonetta you have. I can honestly say the 360 version will let you enjoy the game as it was supposed to be.

However, God of War 3 is #@$% epic. I'd say go w/ god of war. No hard feelings Bayonetta fans, but it is kinda weird...actually, very weird at times

OK, good.

I think you should beat GoW 3 first though. It's short, and you can beat it way quicker than Bayonetta. Then, move on to Bayonetta.

If you´re a real man go with Bayonetta for the "eye candy",if you know what I mean.... :P

I really don't want to be in your position right now. :P 2 really great games. I'd say finish GOW3 first, seeing as you're really hyped because of it's epicness, and it may distract you while you play Bayanonetta, then move on to Baya. :D Either way, you win.

I'd play GoW3 and return Bayonetta. That's just my opinion though. You might not wanna play it anyway after experiencing the awesomeness of Kratos in all his HD glory.

I personally enjoyed bayonetta more. Regardless, it has a pretty steep learning curve in comparison to GoW III. I'd say quickie GoW III then play bayonetta.

Eh? Standards? God Of War has some of the simplist gameplay ever. The only thing it has going for it is the epicness, and a sub par revenge story. Bayonetta is far more innovative, and all round badass.

So far Bayonetta is the best 2010 game for me.

lol, I still have a sealed copy of Darksiders from launch, I don't know why I got it. I should have just waited, saved some money and got it when I actually wanted it.

Just a flip a coin. Or go with the one you expect be less great that way you're not disappointed after the 2nd game.

Is it going to make a difference whether or not you play either game first? You have both, enjoy both.

GoW III is clearly the better game.

I personally preferred GOW3 so that first.

Bayonetta has a very complex and awesome combat system (think DMC but more refined and accessible) but the universe is just too bloody crazy for me. It was driving me insane!

On the other hand, Gow3, even though the combat is a little button mash-y, it is absolutely satisfying and the story and epicness is awesome.
