[QUOTE="finesse-gamer"]Yeah this will amaze. Metroid could be great but looks very action heavy and that does not fit Metroid, there should be adventure as well. The developers said they're trying to fit a lot of adventure into it. Keep in mind that action makes a much better trailer than adventure does.Last Guardian.... epic.
wooooode
The Last Guardian, hands down. Every other game pales in comparison.

I don't know which Metroid series you've played... but the one I've played has been extraordinarily action-heavy. Every single game from Metroid on the NES to Super Metroid on the SNES to Metroid Fusion on the GBA and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes on the GC have been "action-heavy," to an almost extreme extent. You cannot go into a single room and not find something to shoot or something that is going to try and attack you.
Metroid is an "action-adventure" game. With emphasis always put on nail-biting, adrenaline-pumping action. Action comes with the adventure. The whole point of Metroid is to explore extremely hostile worlds... which is why Samus is so well-equipped to deal tons of enemies. The only two Metroid games to fail to meet the standard of the established formula have been Corruption and Hunters. Corruption being far too focused on shooting and linearty... while Hunters, not being a Metroid game to begin with (only through name), is even more focused on shooting and linearity.
Metroid has been and hopefully never will be a point-n-click adventure game with an extremely slow and methodical pace.
Alan Wake, narrative is amazing.AAllxxjjnnI'l go with this, before i seen the E3 offering, i wasnt too excited, but now this has changed
For consoles or PC , gotta give this to Naughty Dog with Uncharted 2 .... they earned it imho.
I'll give Splinter Cell Conviction runner up because the demo dropped jaws , and they are trying something a little different with the presentation and people are taking notice , including other developers.
tough one...
Personally its a tie between The Last Guardian & GOW3.. (though i also liked MAG & Uncharted 2)
Was also interested in the footage with a huge list of upcoming PSP titles...great to know PSP is getting the support it deserves..
On 360, i loved the Forza3 & Splinter Cell footage... ooppss was going to forget Alan Wake :)
Assassins Creed 2 deserves to be listed too...
yea, i think ND stole the show also. followed by the last guardian

Splinter Cell: Conviction.
After the lame trailer almost two years ago, that awesome demo, it's hard not to be impressed.
