Damn Gamespot must have a strong influence. I mean yeah we are on GS and only GS scores count but Gamespot doesn't prove anything other then that "THEY" think its a better game. .2 points is far from pwning by the way.

I agree. Its not that hard to beat TP. Mainly my main gripe was they tried to rely to much on OOTs feel and ended up making it a horrible zelda game. 2. Backward Compatible games don't count as PS3 titles, as they were PS2 games. If they don't say PS3 at the top then its not a Ps3 game.

3. Twighlight princess is a current gen game because it came out for the wii, which is current gen. Even though it was also on the Gcube, it is still different from the Gcube version, but even if it wasn't different from the Gcube game it would still be current gen.

Wow, okami is in no way a bad game. It's easily one of the most impressive games of last gen. But TP was simply better. Okami's visuals blew TP out of the water, but that's about it.goblaa

I agree. Both of them were truly fantastic, but I give the slight edge to TP. Zelda had a more interesting and more coherent story. Also, the ending in Okami was awful. I was expecting something truly epic because the game was so long, but I ended up being disappointed in the end. However, Wind Waker is better than both of those game IMO.

But in terms of dungeon design....well......the only really intersting dungeon I've seen so far was that dungeon where you get shrinked and get to see Issun up close. The rest of them were pretty weak.

I agree that the characters in Okami are better for the most part (i.e. Issun and his perpetual efforts to land a babe!), but the closer you get to the ending the worse it gets. For some reason, CLover decided to add more and more characters which made the story incoherent and convoluted. That is all that I am going to say as I don't want to give away any spoilers.

While the characters in TP lacked, I thought that the story was superb. Having isolated myself from most reviews and media before the game came out, I didn't even know that Ganon would be in the game. I also liked how Midna was a mystery for most of the game, and then here character was resolved in the end.

That is exactly what I am talking about. Tha game would have been so much better if they had stuck with Orochi as the main protagonist instead of throwing in that Yani (is that his name?) guy at the very end. I will say that it was very touching when Old Ameterasu came to the rescue of new Ameterasu.

I find some of the critisism at TP pretty stupid. When Nintendo decided to do something different with WW, fanboys complained and demanded they change it back to a realistic style and make it like OoT. So Nintendo did just that, they made TP have a similar art style and feel as OoT. Then the fanboys complained that it's too much like OoT, and demanded that they change the series a lot. Here my gripe on people who continue to say TP is a ocarina of time rehash, THE GAME WAS NO WHERE NEAR OCARINA OF TIME REHASH. Nearly everything in ocarina of time was not present in tp, and it can go vice versal as well since tp have features that ocarina does not have like learning new sword techniques, bomb arrows, horse back battle mechanix, and bigger hyrule. Ocarina of Time had Magic, Ice, Fire, and Light arrows assessible to use, Mirror Shield, seemingly more interesting characters, enviroments seems to shine better in ocarina of time and more living things in them as well, the ability to go forward and backward through time, and more dungeon(Or at least, Sub-dungeons). Theres to much of a difference between both games for TP to be remotely similar to ocarina of time. Only thing they can obviously have in common is graphic style....

I've played and beaten both Okami and Twilight Princess, and while they're both great games, and both have their strong points, Twilight Princess is simply a better title. Though Okami's artistic design and story are better than TP's, Zelda is better where it counts in battle system and dungeon design.

Although Zelda is the more polished experience, Okami's celestial brush mechanic alone is more original than anything in TP by far.
