For some reason it didn't feel as magical, I think it was that OOT had things flying around especially in the Kokiri area (Fairies, dust, etc).  And Link was too short.  I really wanted sandstorms in the desert too.

I was disappointed with Okami's gameplay myself.  I don't see anything wrong with TP's visuals.

Both games really needed a bit of visual tweeking. Maybe he should start working on a Zelda game and see what happens there.

Well when you create visuals as stunning as Okami's I think you'd find everything disappotining.

He should be disappointed, they were disappointing.  WW had absolutely amazing visuals, you could play the game just to watch them.  TP just felt...generic.

Yeah, that's what this game spawned from. That oh so mystical 1 min. trailer of Link vs. Ganon at the 2000 E3 (I believe it was).

Maybe he wasn't happy with the artistic approach? Perhaps he was really digging WW's art.

I can see that seeing as how his game follows the artistic appeal of WW more than that of TP. I don't see how it's more "regal", in fact I would say the word "regal" is a piss poor word of choice.

Gotta love GS' complete lack to fix simple glitches, referencing your "forbidden".

Zelda was quite impressive from an artistic standpoint, other areas of the game were ok but the twilight zone was really impressive...

Umm his only talking about the visual aspect of the game, not the gameplay itself. Wich some people seem eager to attack and I have to disagree with him. Well at least he does say that Zelda was definitely a huge inspiration to him, wich makes sense after you play Okami.

Maybe the guy was just annoyed or upset that Okami (what he would consider better looking, just his opinion and an extremely bias one as he was part of making the game) was seriously overlooked by buyers (didn't sell that well from what I recall which is why Clover isn't around anymore) where as Zelda got a LOT of attention, sales, and praise (which it earned as it was a great game, though I loved WindWaker as well and would love to see that art style used again).

I found the Art Style of WW more unique then the one in Okami, simply because there are games you can relate to the one in Okami, the same can't be said of WW. Tho the one in Okami was dead gorgeous. Still, its a pity Okami did not do better then what it did, it was trully an awsome game IMO. I can only wait and see what they will do next, since I loved almost anything touched by them, most recently being God Hand(well atleast to an extent).

Wasn't quite as magical. It was still really good though. Also, keep in mind that this is TP's competition that is saying this, of course they aren't going to have anything good to say.

In visuals? Thats arguable. Yes I actually preffered them because they felt more fresh then TP to me, but technically the expression of the characters in Zelda WW and TP and other examples were totally better then Okami. Tho okami did not express the characters emotions on the expression of their faces, but more in signs of shock behind their bodys and things generally used in an anime style.

Notes to okami creator:

Your art style is brilliant but

1. Work on you gameplay, comabat is uniteresting (except for boss battles)

2. 1D objects that turn around with you died with doom

3. Objects draw distance it from the 64 days, shrubs virtualy appear 3-5 feet infront of you

I found Okami's visuals blew TP's out of the water...but Okami didn't play anywhere near as well as TP did.

The game got many blurry textures and jaggies.

Through, it was all gone when going in the Twilight realm cuz it had a bloom or something.

Beside, it looked great, especially the city.

Who wouldn't be dissapointed ? All Wii games look no better than 1st gen xbox ones or some GC ones, but things will get better, starting with No more heroes and One piece unlimited adventure, they both look a bit better and more polished, textures are getting better too, hopefully the next zelda won't look like elephant vomit
