I said below Gamecube quality, ie uglier than RE4 and other GC games that actually did manage to look good. Whats your excuse now? The game (TP) was so big and crammed so much into too small a disc size limit, they had to downgrade the graphical textures. This happened to San Andreas. Its pretty darn ugly for een gamecube, even if it was designed for gamcube. you think I dont know it was made for gamecube? The sheep say every single Wii game is made on Gamecube. that is their rebuttal and justification for every bad looking Wii gameflamingschmoes2
Yeah like Super Mario Galaxy and MP3... Those games are built for the Wii and look good..
And stop acting like Zelda:TP had bad visuals...Itgot a 9 in grpahics for a reason ..An excerpt from Jeff's review..
The Good: Compelling characters and story; outstanding world and puzzle design; longer than most action adventure games; terrific graphics, from an artistic perspective.
And what do u mean "manage to look good..Re4 rivalled the best on xbox 1, even rogue squandron a GC launch title did..

The sheep say every single Wii game is made on Gamecube. that is their rebuttal and justification for every bad looking Wii gameflamingschmoes2But not everything looks bad on the Wii. Hell, TP looks amazing. People want to say that the Wii is just another gamecube with wii-motes or GC1.5( I know, lol ), but have hardly understood why we still play them? Yeah, you already know the sheep saying, why repeat it. It's like our frickenmoto or something. Anyway, I think that just because a game is made for the gamecube or was ported to the Wii during the later part of its production doesn't mean it is an aweful looking game. The scenery in TP is breathtaking if you can look passed it being in 480 instead of 720 (it's 720 right?). Wow, woopty freaking doo. I will justify certain games looking bad if they are still fun to play, otherwise they are just plain crap. Which, might I add, Zelda most certainly isn't.
[QUOTE="chutup"]flamingschmoes, you're missing the point. The Okami guy was disappointed with the artistic design of TP, not the technical quality of the graphics. This the guy who made OKAMI, the most arty game ever made. If he were here he would laugh at your pictures of Fight Night and Kameo and think (but not say, because he's very polite, I'm sure) that Okami looks better. And he would be right. Visually, Okami > TP > Kameo and your other crappy 360 games.flamingschmoes2"I was disappointed when I saw [the] visuals," said Hideki Kamiya, a self-proclaimed Zelda freak. "I really wanted [Twilight Princess] to have regal aura, because Zelda was what were aspiring to." -- Okami guy Nothing in that quote really screams "I'm talking about art stylle!!!!!!! Move out da way!!!!!" You dont really know either. TP's art style is consistent with OoT character style, so I have a feeling his is largely a technical criticism too. Just because he himself makes a Japanese water-colored art game doesnt mean he is always talking and critiquing art styles either. And how dare you call the Xbox 360 games crap, one launch game looks better than all Wii games combined. Pay your respects to your superior u shouldnt waste ur time arguing with 'schmoes... he's pretty thick

Pay your respects to your superior  Well I actually found TP's art to be a litle different from OOT. OOT felt more colorfull.......... They both wanted to go in different directions but TP went in a darker direction exactly because of peoples hate for WW, wich is probably one of the reason of why he is dissapointed with it. Anyway I actually have to agree with you even in art direction there are some next gen games that definitely stand in a ground of their own(not to mention upcoming titles). In my persoanl opinion I would actually consider thousands of other titles more or as impressive as Okami artistically speaking, specially if we are talking about titles from their specific time period.

i have to agree that TP was missing something that the other zeldas have .. dunno quite what that is thoughakif22Probably because it related alot with the 2d games in alot of situations. In comparison with other 3d Zeldas you didn't have a Deku Tree, or any colorfull kokiri characters. Actually you had a completely different spirit from the others at times in alot of examples, wich makes me disagree with the people that say the TP is an OOT rehash. It just felt different in so many areas and its exactly because its not an OOT rehash that actually made people seem dissapointed with the game. I actually liked its place in the overall series, my favorite? Not really. The Zelda that I liked less was MM and TP comes right after it, still I loved the game much like MM.
i have to agree that TP was missing something that the other zeldas have .. dunno quite what that is thoughakif22TP was missing the Magic Meter. It's missing a few other races in the Hyrulian history.(Where are the Gerudos, Kokiri?)Lack of sub-dungeons that Ocarina of Time had and it was a bigger game, lacked more skull kids, Lost woods (Sacred grove) was disappointing, expected more of a storyline with Dark Link in it, and possibly a more larger Hyrule itself.......

Not only that with the things you said and what I wrote above it lacked mirror shield like puzzles, a good stealth system or stealth moments(even the one in OOT was done in a different and better way), Lacked funny and colorfull enemies and races like the Deku Scrubs and Business Scrubs since it took itself more seriously because of the atmosphere of the game and well etc. The game was definitely not a rehash of OOT it was simply different in alot of situations and one of the reasons why I think alot of people hated it was because it had alot of different things from OOT.
