Personally, I find the depth of some of the gameplay on Wii to be a great gaming experience. Yes, while the games look 'kiddy', games like Strikers and Brawl have really deep strategies to learn. Plus, I think games like SMG are examples of classic gaming done to excellent levels. For me, it's PURE gaming.

but my perspective regarding games is seeing games like Tetris as being more 'hardcore' than anything.

In addition, I think Wii is on track to having one of the best horror librarys, if not the best. I can't wait to play games like Dead Space and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories to name a few of the horror ones comeing out. I'm sure others can name more.

I am an adult and a gamer. Maybe that is why I have no wish to own a Wii. I even told my kids no when they asked for one. If I am going to buy a system with last gen specs, I will replace my PS2 for the newest model and spend the extra $150 on PS2 games and an extra controller and have a better experience because I am not stuck with crappy motion controls.

you can get recharge kits for the wii, in the uk i got one pretty cheap. i don't know how people use none rechargables these days. if it doesn't plug into the wall get it away from my face.

This belongs in a blog. Anyways, I would say to get more games or just wait a little longer. If you really can't stand it, sell it and get a DS/PSP/PS2 :P

It's great for adults and family as well. I wonder if the kids have never seena kids movie or tv show. Hate to live in a household where I would have to like everything my parents did and not be allowed to have any tastes of my own.

and the wii doesn't? the gamecube had a few multiplat games shared with the ps2, but that is all it had over the wii. if you wanted the most games you got a ps2, if you wanted nintendo games you got a gamecube.

the wii is growing in 3rd party support, and i can see it being as good as the gamecube by the end of the gen.

You know guys I`ve been watching all video game show every week. Every single Wii games they review or preview, it`s all KIDDIE GAMES. Yes, KIDDIE GAMES. Even when they show upcoming Wii games, 98% of all those games is KIDDIE GAMES ............ Dance game, RPG, Platformer ........... Even Wii action games is soo kiddie ........ Those game turn from kiddy to been harcore when the release on the Hardcore console.

Well during my 2 1/2 years with Wii only 5 games I consider for a true gamer, No More Heroes, Mad World, Zelda TP, Conduit and RE : Umbrella Chronicles. It`s true guys, Wii is a not console for gamers. There`s only 2 true console for gamers this gen, PS3 and 360. I`m finish.Foxhound_spy
