you know what im talking about, one day im just siting there playing some GOW and i decide to check my friends list cauce 16 of my friends were on, 13 out of that 16 were playeing gta 4 so it got me thinking well mabye this game is preetty good i mean the other gta games were good right so i rent da game deciding to play it thinking i should just buy it to begin with but what the hell il just try it first. good thing i did after about 2 mins of gameplay i almost through -up :x all of my tv and 360 it was so bad. its like they took everything that was great about the first games and took them away y??? i dont know anyways know it looks like my friends have come to realize how bad it is cauce now only 2 of the 16 frienddss that were on at the time still play it another 2 of them traded it in. im just warring u beffore u go buy some game with a big tittle just rent it first u may be surprised.:shock:
It makes almost every other console game I've played this gen seem dull by comparison. Burnout Paradise and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 are actually boring to me now, after playing GTAIV.
the main reason im playing GTA4 is cuz NBA 2K8 is having problems online and army of 2 kind of sux i cant believe army of 2 was my most anticipated game on 360/ps3 for 08:(
Although I hate how they really didn't innovate and if anything, made the series more realistic. GTA was about having fun but now that every game has to be insanely realistic or its garbage, Rockstar changed it.

its the opposites for me i cant play more then one quest at a time i get board in single player online is more fun for me but there are some annoying people on live that try to be on team alone and make things boaring and it takes forever to start a game
It's my favorite GTA. It's also a popular, well-received series so it's going to have a lot of players (especially since it released a few weeks ago). I'm bored with it now though, seeing as I've done nearly everything there is to do.

lololololololol how right u are sry i kinda made it sound like a condemd the whoolde game im mainly an online player so if the multi player aint good then i realy dont like the game if u like the single player then sure go crazy
maybe uz u only played it for 2 minutes...that's not really enough time to judge a game lol...anyway it's an amazing game and I haven't even touched the multiplayer yet
you figured all that after only playing the game for 2 minutes? maybe you should just suck it up, get ready for the long haul and play for at least a couple of hours. i know its extreme, but somebody has to do it
I'm not as impressed to be honest. I have more fun with Saints Row, but it was a great game. IMO it's missing so many features of older GTA's and things they should have stolen from Saints Row.
I think it lost some of it's charm because it's not as arcadey as it used to be, and that's what made it a fun series in the first place.

GTA IV is ok. I just did my first mission out of the second safe house and i'm enjoying myself. I liked the PS2 GTAs better though. Still the story for this one is good enough to make me keep running from mission to mission. I don't think it deserved a 10, maybe a 9 or an 8.5.

Oh so after just 2min of gameplay you think this game sux and is not fun? WOW, this is a joke
Most overated and ESPECIALLY boring game. I finished the main story in 21 hours and have no desire to replay the already repetitive missions. Almost no side missions, just racing which IDC about. Playing games with friends is boring. So many things from other gta games stripped out. Online is just "mehhh". Saints Row 2 is gonna pwn gameplay, content, and online.
GTA IV did have a great story I'll admit. Too much yellow and blur in the graphics.

The singleplay was all right, but the multiplat was floppier than...well..yeah.
I think this game is great, hell even with all the "bad things you can do" my wife loves the story and sits next to me while I play this game, (she also yells at me when I screw up). I enjoy the story, its like a whole bunch of mafia movies bunched into one game with me in the driver's seat.
Yeah the game is overated the SP, is noting new and the MP is trash, the only good thing about the mp is the fact the its 16 player free roaming the gun play is garbage, no to mention so much stuff was ripped from san andres, its like a major downgrade rather than an upgrade, I still cant believe it got a 10.
Wow, your grammar is bad, but that's not my main problem with what you said. How, after only two minutes of playtime, did you come to realize that they removed everything fun from the previouse versions? Could you at least gives some examples of what made you almost throw up? I really just feal sorry for you that you are missing out in something that millions of people are loving, including me.
