OMFG YES!!!!!! COD Black Ops will CRUSH everything. Best FPS ever made.

This is NO JOKE this is the biggest feature to make this game OFF THE CHARTS!!!!!! My biggest turn off was always in COD multiplayer was cheap campers and lame glitching cheaters and kids talking smack and singing and yelling you know all the nonsense. I have been begging for this feature for years and hated it ever year when it was not in the COD games.

Another thing that made GEOW2 so good for me was this feature also so I could just chill and play my own matches.

Anyway yes ladies and Gentlemen it has been confirmed that AI bots are now in for COD Black Ops Multiplayer. So you can create your own matches and just play againts AI bots you can even coop with a friend in this. This is SO ******* amazing to me now I will truly enjoy COD to it's fullest now that I can just chill and play some online with AI bots. this is HUGE for me and I know others will truly appreciate this also.

i know I do becuase sometimes i just want to chill and not get so stressed about campers and cheap tactics being exploited by human players sometimes it's just nice to chill and have fun and AI bots lets you do this.

Thank you for stating one of my main distastes of the Call of Duty games -- they multiplayer is full of nothing but campers and cheap tactics.

Then play the single player. It's been full of bots the whole time! I play multiplayer for the competition between myself and the rest of the gaming community. I don't like glitching and cheap play styles, but bots will not fix that. If I had to choose between playing with campers and glitchers...or bots...I would find something else to play.

You never played Time Splitters right? AI bots made that game beyond awesome, i can see why they seem outdated now, but AI bots, in a modern Shooter and Local Multiplayer, is IMO a match made in heaven.

I can't wait to see what mods people come up with.

Pretty sure you got confused with CS, it has all those features and more.

How does that equate to the "Best FPS ever made."? We know the story and single player will be complete garbage with totally cornball story and unbelievable happenings. And let us not forget the infinitely re-spawning enemies on higher difficulties.

otherwise, bots aren't that great IMO. I only found a use for them in Shadowrun, a game where I like the bots for sniping/rifle practice. I doubt there's anything to practice for in COD MP.

Not saying it's amazing tech we all know other games have had this. And yes I used to jam on some CSS alot with just bots for fun.

What i'm saying is it will be mad fun to just OWN the AI bots in your own created matches. Plus if you can ramp up the AI bot diffculty that will be sweet might get pretty tough.

Can anyone confirm if your gain experience in your bot matches that also let you unlock perks? I see XP points being earned in the developer video talking about the AI bots I assume you can just rank up in bot matches if you want that carry over your rank up to human matches?

I hope this is the way it will be?

well, the do have 2-3 developers working on COD to get the mass produced agenda going.

they're basically recylcing a lot of things with these games, so it's on the borderline of things really.

Call of Duty is mass produced. We have had, what?, 5 COD games on consoles and PC since the 360 launched? That means since 2005 there has been one COD per year.

My TF2 clan server can have bots, and they put up a huge challange (sniper bot is insanly accurate).

EDIT: But i do want the optionto have bots offline for when i don't feel like playing against people, BF1942 was excellent, and the bots where decent.

If this games gets a 9.5 it will be a very sad day. ME2 only got a 9.
