I actually like bot support. It allows me to get to know the levels without some hardened veteran shooting me every minute, and it's a good option for if I don't want to make an effort and just fire away.

I'm still not interested in this game and the idea of a CoD game being the best FPS ever is pretty laughable, but it's still a nice feature.

I wouldn't say best FPS ever made. It'll definitely be a great game in its own right though.

When BF3 is shown off, expect it to be brought up in every FPS conversation just as Crysis is in every graphics discussion.

Hopefully you can't complete challenges/get CP by playing with bots.

Bots seems like a feature for people just starting out COD multiplayer to me. Then eventually people will stop using them because after all, battling AI doesnt give the same feeling as true multiplayer.

Also, the added feature doesn't help in my decision in getting this game. MW2 ruined Call of Duty for me, and I'll stick with Reach for a while.

I first liked Bot support back in 1999 with UT for PC that ruled and you could still jump online for human online play.

This is NO JOKE this is the biggest feature to make this game OFF THE CHARTS!!!!!! My biggest turn off was always in COD multiplayer was cheap campers and lame glitching cheaters and kids talking smack and singing and yelling you know all the nonsense. I have been begging for this feature for years and hated it ever year when it was not in the COD games.

Another thing that made GEOW2 so good for me was this feature also so I could just chill and play my own matches.

Anyway yes ladies and Gentlemen it has been confirmed that AI bots are now in for COD Black Ops Multiplayer. So you can create your own matches and just play againts AI bots you can even coop with a friend in this. This is SO ******* amazing to me now I will truly enjoy COD to it's fullest now that I can just chill and play some online with AI bots. this is HUGE for me and I know others will truly appreciate this also.

If Medal Of Honor does not add this feature it is huge fail.

Congrats to console gamers for getting a feature we had a decade ago on the PC.

It actually looks really fun, but unfortunately some people will try to ruin it by boosting for points. For the wager matches you should not be able to enter a friends match to prevent this.

Not sure why you would want to play AI bots, I mean what satisfaction would you get from beating a bot :? I guess it could be useful for practicing, but thats about it.

Whats great about it is becuase when you leave a room or match becuase some kid is screaming or singing or some lame punk is doing nothing but camping at your spawn the whole match you say man I just want to chiil and wish I could just setup a bot match sometimes. Well now you can you see great feature.

No I have not go back and read. I mentioned that I used to play bot matches on the great UT back in 1999 on PC one of the best FPS games ever. I also mentioned I used to chill on some CSS on PC also.

TC, you need to play more FPS if this excites you this much. Bots were awesome when I was like 12 and couldn't play online in Battlefront, now they aren't as cool.

This game is going to be huge for me, I can already tell. :shock: Treyarch is really steppin' it up, plus putting features back on PC?! This might be the best CoD yet! :D

I guess some mis my point on this. Sometime I just want to look around the maps and just gaze and chill and enjoy the map and at the same time **** with some AI bots it's more relaxing when you are just in a chill mood and just want to enjoy your game

We've been playing against AI bots since 1992 on the PC. Maybe even before.

Bots in console games are a joke.

Only console game that has good bots is Shadowrun, they're almost on par with CS's bots in terms of difficulty.

I like your enthusiasm, but it's been known for a while that you can play with bots! That's def. a feature that needs to make it in more shooters. Halo is one of the last popular shooters which doesn't allow it. I reckon MS wants to promote XBL Gold.

Black Ops will be awesome I think and in the running for 2010's best shooter and best competitive multilplayer.

Edit: I don't agree that it's guaranteed to be the best FPS ever, but you can believe what you want!

I've watched a bunch of videos of it and i have to say that the MP looks like MW2. The single player settings and atmosphere will probably be good, just like MW2 (i just hope it has a better and easier to follow story than MW2).
