[QUOTE="NinjaMunkey01"][QUOTE="LordoftheVacas"]Cows talk about scripted events but they dont mind Killzone 2 scripted destructable enviroments ,which it doesnt have none in real time :lol:CreepyBacon
show a video of it.
Do yo mean the explosions hitting the ground? If so I think you misunderstand why people are annoyed by what epic has done.
those explosions add to the game, make it more immersive.
what epic did was to fake a large battle. You will be fighting, try to shoot all those enemies and suddenly realise they are all scripted, then look at the 4 enemies you can shoot and will not be satisfied, why would you want to shoot 4 enemies when you just thought you could shoot 50? That is the problem.
Its ok to have some scripted but, but having 80% of the entire scene scripted is taking it a little to far.
I don'ts ee the problem, there creating an enviroment. Why the hell would you shoot hte locusts running by down there, over the one charging at you? It creates an epic battle going on, it's no worse than someone putting a waterfall in the background to create a beatiful landscape, just cause you can't walk up to it doesn't make it any less beatiful, the same as just because you can't run up and attack, wont make it any less epic.
It beats narrow corridoors fighting 1-2 enemys, running and gunning like I've seen from KZ2.
... then you havent seen enough videos of killzone.
