This entire year, as has been agreed by many a more knowledgable in the games department aside from anyone in these forums, has been pretty much equal in terms of games for both systems. ID even go as far to say the entire rest of the year are pretty much equal as well. You have Banjo, Fable 2 and GeOW2 coming for the 360. One a sequel to a couple superb games that may flop due to it's vastly different gameplay, one a sequel to an overhyped RPG that actually looks much better this time around and one a sequel to a superb game made by one of the best console shooter dev teams around. On the other hand, takign a list from another poster in this thread, you have Motorstorm 2: A game with about an 80% average on gamerankings, Socom: A game who's sequel only have 1 to score above 85% on the same site, Resistance 2: A FPS that is the sequel to an average next gen shooter at best, and LBP which has recieved absolutely amazing previews and I'm fairly certain will be a steller game. Both pretty much equal,although the PS3 has a few games gbeing released that won't be on the 360 that aren't on this list but pretty much this whole year has been equal in terms of games released.

There isnt one 2008 game that I will buy for my 360 this year... and that's Gears 2. Other than that, seriously there isnt one game I will probably buy. Left4Dead looks decent, but I'll probably pass... Viva Pinata and Banjo look decent... but I'll probably pass.

Too many games I would rather play this year than those. SOCOM, R2, Gears 2, and LBP pretty much dominate what I'll buy the rest of the year. Obviously, Sony will be getting more of my money this Christmas rather than Microsoft. But hey - that's just me.

It's definitly possible. It's improving on the original in every way imaginable, and really pushing the envelope. 8 player coop with a whole different campaign? 60 player online mode? Not to mention the single player campaign will be in no way shabby. I think Resistance 2 is definitly a contender.

I definately see Resistance 2 as one of the big exclusives this year. The others being Little Big Planet, MGS4, Smash Brothers, valkyria chronicles, Gears 2 and fable 2

the 4 exclusive fall release titles: left4dead, banjo, gears2, fable2 will net MS so much more revenue than the PS3 exclusives.

I think the X360 has a nice lineup.

But the PS3 also has an amazing one.

This year, X360 imo. 2009? PS3 it seems.

I love my xbox, but also gonna get a PS3 next spring :D
