The Sony we all know and love is back with a bang,BE AFRAID ,BE VERY AFRAID sheeps and lems.

Sony just gave MS and Ninty a DOUBLE UPPERCUT ,Playstation Home and Little Big Planet own everything on the 360 and Wii.

This is the way forward for gaming,NOT HAVING TO PAY TO PLAY GAMES ONLINE OR A GIMMICK CONTROLERr.Putting the power in the gamers hands,being able to make and upload your own music video on Singstar or making and uploading your own level on Little Big Planet.

The ability to share your content with everyine else,MS had it all wrong focusing on downloadble content,uploading is where its at.

Sony was right,next gen starts when they say it does.

What is there not to get hyped up about?Phil just gave us a glipse of the future of gaming.....and its free. MS rushed their console to launch a year before Sony and the still end up laying catch up,now thats kinda funny.

Yep its hilarious,Sony did the old rope a dope with MS,think Foreman vs Ali. They must have been planning this for a while,the cell the hardrive as standard its all making sense now.

This is going to make no bigger of an impact then another regular game. Only difference is that its downloaded through thier network. I dont see why people think that a virtual chat and minigame, game is going to put Sony so much higher.

I'm just not seeing it. It's a glorified virtual condo. I have no interest in watching some other schmuck pretend they're on American Idol. Little Big Planet might not suck, but it sounds way to cutesy for me. I want to share my experiences with my friends, not look at some random schmuck's 3D MySpace. I don't even go to my own MySpace that often - once a month, maybe less. It's just not appealing. Sure, I could go look at my friends' virtual apartments, but I already know what their real apartments look like.

Developers make the games better, gameplay wise PSH has a vision that made Myspace, yahoo chat, sims, and MMO so popular today. Their vision is so huge you fail to see it. Here you are crying about games, when PSH will bring such a tremendous replay value to not only games, but to the developers. Imagine Hanging out in Capcom Home on the PS3 having a chat with a Capcom developer about the next installment of Street Fighter. Imagine getting special content in your home that allows you to customize your in-game experience i.e. Since I beat GoW2 on Sprata mode under 5 hours I can have Kratos in a Ninja outfit that was custom made in my home. The vision is there.

I dont even have my PS3 yet but Iknow whenit launches here there are at least 3 games worth picking up,not to mention the downloadble ones. The PS3 has games and more are coming,we also just got a online service that kicks XBL in the teeth.And its free,how is MS gonna compete with Home??Short answer they cant.

Okay, I see where you're coming from. Being able to unlock stuff from in the game and using it in your Home and things like that... (like the Kratos thing as you mentioned). It's a very good concept and all, but I'm just a little bit skeptical if Sony will be able to pull this off to the extent that we all hope this to be. I guess all we can do is just wait and see what happens..

Its funny how Sony still hasn't learned from the PSP, adding new functionality is great but games are what the consumer want for a real experience. I remember when cows were like, "OMG Teh PSP can browse teh internet and watch tv's!!! Teh DS is PwNeD!!!"

It's not Just Sony. This is for all developers to come in the new 3.0 error. Phil spent the first 10 minutes explaing what is happing to entertainment today. More people spend time on youtube, than to the movies. There are more accumlating time on myspace in a day than a major city weekend at clubs. This is the era of media content from the user. Phil showed the Time Magazine article about it. Community, clans, and clubs are the main point of entertain,ent today. PSH just brought all that to gaming. This is Sony vision.

Yeah,the 360and Wii suddenley look very dated. With a gamerscore of 17084 imagine what you could have unlocked on PSHome?Nope MS would rather try and milk you for the cool gamerpics , cool wallpapers and themes. MS needed this slap up,after the news that PC gamers are gonna have to start paying for XBL this kinda puts it in perspective.

Explain how PSN (Home and Store) are more robust than XBL and I will concede my point. Until then, just relax and keep quiet.

Because, at the end of the day, 360 owners have fantastic games to play and a very fleshed-out online service which is second-to-none. Threads like this only belabor Sony fans' inferiority complex in these respects.

Because, at the end of the day, 360 owners have fantastic games to play and a very fleshed-out online service which is second-to-none. Threads like this only belabor Sony fans' inferiority complex in these respects.

ok. now where are the good games? after all it's GAMING console. It should be fair to expect good games with such a "great "online service. Is that too much to ask?
