he wasn't aware of that either.Im sorry, I wasnt aware the original Half Life had Co-Op play and character developments in the story that directly tied to HL2.Â

BTW, I think this is looking WAY too good for Valve to let it pass up for free. Im starting to think they will buy the devs who made this game and will sell the game on STEAM. And besides, why would these guys spend 4 years working their *** off, for no profit at all? They probably secretly wish someone will pick up and publish this game for them.
They do it to get noticed? Alot of developers spend tons of time making games but no matter how good it was it did not make profit. Mainly only the big hitter developers with big publishers backing them will make profit most of the time.
[QUOTE="hopesfall2own"][QUOTE="SamiRDuran"] sure lets just forget the hordes of console fanboys begging for a final fantasy VII remake that they will never ever get...JangoWuzHereI could care less about that series. Its still funny to see people hyping a freaking mod, truly funny. Where's all the heavy hitters for PC since you gotta hype a mod? Like you would know. PC gamers have always hyped mods. You most likely woulden't know because I think you never tried any mods. Theirs nothing wrong with hypeing a mod. Especially if its a remake of one of the greatest FPS ever made. If anything you are being very ignorant right now like you always have been. I've tried plenty of mods, and they usually wear out quicker than the original games. Don't act like you know me.

modders make mods to get noticed...developers of prominent mods tend to get hired, and fast.Â
It looks a lot better on an application than just a degree.
[QUOTE="Guybrush_3"]I'm hyped. I loved Quake 3 and I can't wait until QL comes.Hear hear. I'm sick of the plethora of 'realism based shooters' post counterstrike. Games like TF2 break the ice, but im craving some Quake Live and Legions.I thought that this topic was going to be about Quake Live.
Is anyone else hyped for Quake Live?Â

I actually just got in the Quake Live Beta, been playing it recently.cobrax75
Aww man I tried to get in a while back and didn't. Does it play as well as QIII?
[QUOTE="hopesfall2own"][QUOTE="-Sniper99-"]He's hyping a remake of one of the greatest games of all time. What's wrong with that? Starcraft II and Diablo III look ****ing awesome. I don't have a strong PC, but at least I don't pretend I didn't wish I could play other system's games:wink:SF_KiLLaMaNI can play anything the hermits can play, i just find it boring compared to playing over LIVE. You look at my games you'd see the rts's i have, I'll probably even get diablo but its still pathetic to hype a mod, but I guess that's the only thing upcoming apparently. i dont think you know how in dept mods can be, for example, Project Reality, a battlefield 2 mod, is the most realistic game out to date. there is no debate on it. it completly changes the game and makes it into a ultra realistic team and squad based game. the mod alone makes your $10 purchase worth $60. i would buy that game for $60 if it wasnt a mod. but here it is free, FREE. how are mods no relevant when they make cheap games worth more than your precious halo? the game is cheaper than your online service!!! hyping a mod is perfectly normal, nothing wrong with it.
He so desperately wants mods to be irrelevant. He's searching and digging for reasons bash free content.
I am very excited about this game because I played the original HL when it came out. I remember playing the hugely cpativating set peices, the atmosphere and how different the game was to the games out at the time. The game told an engrossing apocalyptic story and did it well. Sure the game is nothing special now, but this is meant for all the original fans who loved the first. It's free content so who cares if it doesn't sell lol.
For the original fans (and I'm sure there are a lot of HL fans) the hype is worth it.
