How many? All I asked for was proof. Do we know the intricate layout of the closed event? Was it played over a LAN type network, or online? Considering the lack of LAN options, this would be kinda devious. I've seen people post issues with LAN/system link online.

"The mutliplayer portion of this review was tested at a Microsoft review event."
Ars: We weren't surprised to see all four games' multiplayer modes run smoothly enough in small, custom online sessions before the game launched to the masses
"The multiplayer component of this game was tested at a closed review event, due to the lack of availability of the full online experience before review. Having tested it out again in full, live conditions upon release, I have alas discovered major problems with the game's online connectivity"
Polygon (who later revised their score due to broken online): Halo: The Master Chief Collection was reviewed using a "retail" downloadable code provided by Microsoft. Additional impressions were based on a multiplayer event held by Microsoft on Nov. 4
