Have tried it on PC, spent a couple of months but got bored.. so i'm not really interested in the PS4 version.

@ghostwarrior786: titles can only be so long. And when it was announced it was treated as if it would be a launch title. Even the devs said that's what they were aiming for.

So something like a press release where they stated in 2013 that Planetside 2 would be available later in the year?

That is well with in the time frame to be considered as a launch window game

I guess I can see that. I've played it before and loved it. But, I don't have a Windows PC at home anymore (only Macs), and even if I did buy one just for one game, I don't like playing games on a PC. So, I figured when it eventually came out for the PS4, that's when I'd probably get one.

I don't have that much interest in most of Sony's exclusives.

When Planetside 2 was PC only:

Planetside coming to PS4:

Sources and that it was the same people who changed their position due to PS4 announcement? Personally, I played in the beta and it was fun for a little while but I haven't played it since it actually released

There arent any sources. I rememeber when P2 first came out I only heard praise about it. Never a negative coment. Now in this thread there is mostly negativity. Coincidence? I dont think so. If you still want sources... bite me. This is SW and I can do w/e I want in order to make a point

There won't be 100's of gamers running around the screen at once, that's for sure. Isn't the game 60fps on the PC? I haven't played it in so long, I can't remember. It won't be 60fps on the PS4. They'll have to drop the resolution to 720P for that to happen.

And the game has been out for a while, people change their minds over time. or they enjoyed the initial experience (it was new, and different) but found it couldn't be sustained over time. The PS4 version has been announced well over a year, things didn't just change with this thread

Planetside 2 is best played in an organized group using a large scale VoIP service like Mumble or Teamspeak fighting an opponent using the same organization and tools your outfit is using. Game is pretty boring if you play it like any other Multiplayer FPS.
