even multiplat's are released without online... let's face it... paying for online sucks but you know what.. if you're gonna do it it's probably because you're planing to use it in the first place, which is something the Wii U can't do because it has no games to go online for. Even less to pay for.

I've seen upto 3,000 people online on CoD on the WiiU at on time and MH Tri is healthy as usual, People still be playing it on the Wii if Capcom didn not kill off online.

Good to hear, I guess that means I'll just have to wait until I get a Wii U instead of getting the 3DS version.

Takes about 30mins to connect up to a room.
Has NO support for patches.
Lags.

In fact, its even worse than its free. Gives room for a lot of errors. Free is one thing, having something broken and free is wasting your time.

Well ps4 online games that are free to play are actually free to play. Sony also lets game developers/publishers decide if they want to put games behind the PS+ paywall. Apps like chat, messaging, netflix, hulu and such are also free.

But really nintendos online being free isnt that great because its the worst online service of them all right now. Ps3, 360, vita, pc and well everything is far superior to what nintendo tries to pass off as a online service. So yeah a shit sandwhich might be free, but that doesnt make it better.

I have yet to hit a Laggy Match in any of my WiiU games.

Games take about the same amount of time it does on a PS3 or 360 Online. It probably takes more than 30 mins to connect because WiiU's online isn't as popular as PSN or Xbox Live.

It has Support for Patches, Games on WiiU get updated all the time.

The Amount of Support a game gets is only as much the 3rd Party Publisher is willing to give it. See Call of Duty BLOPS2 and Assassin's Creed 3 on WiiU.

To what extent did Xbox 360 charge for online? Did games that offered leader boards require a paid subscription? I mostly just use online for competing with others' high scores.
