Only 300,000 more Wiis until it passes 360 in sales

Despite it's one year head-start, it seems the 360 is 1/3 of a million Wiis from losing 1st place in sales. Sorry if old. Not being biased towards Wii, just sharing teh news.

Oh don't worry im not attacking you man, I just think that no real gamer should want a console with poor game quailty being the leader of a generation. More a general statement.

It will definately overtake in sales, but in th end, it's still a console no one will ever really take seriously. It's the hot thing to have with a control scheme that's different from everythind else. It'll share the same kind of succes the gamecub e did as far as games go.farrell2k

They've all openly stated they have taken note...although some care more than others. The problem is that unless all they do is release mini-game collections and PS2 ports, it's going to take a year or two before real games make their way out. Real games take a while to develop and developers have openly said that they were unprepared for the Wii to sell at all, let alone in such numbers. So they are jumping on late which means the real games are going to be late....if they get made at all of course.

the cheap Wii price is what helps alot. But I wonder if it will be able to continue for a very long time due to the lack of good games. IMO mini-games hit a point where you simply can't do anything that original anymore.

As for the PS3/360 I think each console will have there own kind of games. Personaly there's alot of upcoming games I want to play for the PS3 and only like 3 games I'd play on the 360.

Right, because the Wii won't get any good games and only minigames. Let's forget about Metroid Prime 3, SSBB, SMG, No More Heroes, Zack and Wiki, FFCC, DQS, and a host of other games and call them bad/mini games.

Out of the entire Wii library, there's only like 6 mini-game compilations. You're delusional if you keep saying that's all it has, or even if you just say it has a lot. Sure there may be more than what's on the other consoles, but it's still not a lot.

Sorry, that was a few years ago, with the PS1.

The 360 will take a huge leap ahead during the holiday season if the Wii truely does have a shortage. The price drop plus the games that are coming out should push the 360 ahead.justforlotr2004

Its hard to tell what is driving the Wii and when it will stop. With the 360 its easy to tell what drives the 360 because its the games.
