i think it will, after playing the demo i think it will most likely get 9.5, and, there is a slim chance, though i highly doubt it, of a, dare i say it? 10?

no game is perfect, but i think crysis will live it up to the hype, AAA(9,0-9,5) it depends on the reviewer and the GS random factor we get these days.Mizarus

Yeah the trigens were stupid as hell lol, but I would say overall Far Cry was a pretty awesome game.

But Crysis I think will be at least a 9.5.

But more importantly theres are fewer days left until Assassin's Creed comes out. Seriously though I'd buy Crysis on launch day if i had 3.5k pc to play on max specs but other wise i just don't see the point.Duo75

one 8800 GT can max it out, it's 280 bucks. The rest of the computer could easily cost you 1200 total. You are ignorant when it comes to computer games and systems; you don't even have a good rig right now, you have no credibility.

If you think that you need a 3500 dollar computer to max out Crysis, you have no idea what you're talking about. It's just the facts, Jack. How is a Q6600, 8800 GT and 2-3 gigs of ram medium spec? You can get all of that for about 600 - 700 bucks, and the rest would only be around 1100 maybe 1200 total depending on what kind of case/PSU/mobo and misc parts you want. That is almost top of the line, it's only a little under the 8800 GTX. Saying that it's a medium spec only proves that you don't know what you're talking about.

You are showing no knowledge on the subject, for $1200 you can build yourself a quality rig that you probably wont have to upgrade in awhile. When I buy my 8800GT my total rig will have cost 1350USD, Q6600, OCZ ddr2 800mhz SLI ram, Evga 680i, Corsair Hx620w, etc. I'm not going to be upgrading for awhile and my rig is not "medium spec". I could have easily cut the cost down a bit by buying a cheaper cas, HD, and other things.

But anwyways Crysis will live up to its hype imo. Cant wait i'm dling my EA preorder right now, 14th here we come(cant unlock the prerelease until then)!

My only issue with Crysis is how the guns handle. Going from Far Cry or R6V, the rifles feel like a really weak gun. Partly for two reasons

1) quiet? It hardly produces a bang :(

2) no recoil? Sure, there's bullet deviation, but your scope( Assault) hardly moves when you go auto

Those two things make the guns feel really weak :/

I know the Korean troops are wearing heavy body armor, but getting nailed 10 times in the chest by a 7.62 round just isn't right...

A mod also needs to come out to up the gore. Those stupid laws in Germany are preventing this game from being gore-tastic. I don't mean over the edge gore, but atleast give me Far Cry levels with body damage.

Ok, sweet thanks, I'll have to do that when I get home, I'm at work right now lol.

Crysis, like all games, has its share of bugs and technical glitches but it really does stand head and shoulders above any other game I have even seen in terms of scope and attention to detail.

Considering it is simply awesome to play because of its clever use of physics I struggle to see the game scoring lower than a 9.0 and my guess is a 9.5 here at GS.

my rig runs the demo on very high, and it only uses the single core, i has a AMDx2 64-bit, 1 Geforce8800GTX 756 or somethign like that DDR3 2GBddr2 ram, 800GBworth of HDD,MSI k9agneo2 mobo, it cost me 1600 but that is only cus i got my 8800 when it was brand new and cost me a ps3, if i built i tnow ti would be much cheeper
