[QUOTE="SolidTy"]I own both games and I enjoy platforming/action adventuring games. I enjoyed the Ratchet experience a large degree more so pitted against this particular Banjo game. Both are delightful games though.
Let me check the world's critics on the matter and see if my gaming experience with R&C : ToD vs. B-K : N&B lines up with the majority of the world's gaming critics...
Ratchet & Clank : Tools of Destruction Metascore 89/100, 89%
Banjo - Kazooie : Nuts and Bolts Metascore 79/100, 79%
Yeah, so it appears like my original assessment/memories lines up with the majority of the world's critics on this particular R&C vs. Banjo Nuts comparison. Happy gaming. :P

Adding the decimal percentile of difference standards of the years those games released Banjo is an 80 and Ratchet is a 72. Thought you are not able to comprehend basic decimal percentile so I will leave you off with this. Although gamespot scores is what we should use. I watching you :cool:First of all, I played both these games at their launches, not today, so your entire first point is moot. :o I played those games when they were hot and payed top dollar for both of them. Both games are in my collection as well as we speak. :D
Secondly, Gamespot.com scores apply only to the metagame we play in SW, it doesn't apply to the entirety of SW. You can make a thread in SW about Eurogamer scores, IGN scores, Metacritic, whatever. The Gamespot.com scores apply though for FLOPS on HYPE games. The metagame.
If you want to make a thread asking which game was better according to Gamespot.com, feel free. In that case I can tell you now Banjo did. I also read both of those reviews ages, but that's besides the point. I can also tell you a little bit about the Insomniac's view of the Ratchet score, some drama there, and some drama on the Ex-Gamespot.com staff member who reviewed Ratchet, a previous sports reviewer named Aaron Thomas. This all came up in SW past though. I was hoping Banjo Nuts and Bolts would be like Banjo 1 and 2:D, and unfortunately it wasn't what longtime Banjo fans expected or received. Banjo Nuts was a good game on it's own though for usre, but it didn't kick ass like Banjo 1/2 did (imo and world's critics opinions) on N64 or the XBLA Banjo 1/2 N64 HD ports. I would LOVE for that still to happen by the way.
RARE make a BANJO 3!!!! (Unfortunately, RARE is doing Kinect games today:cry:, and many former staff behind Banjo are gone. :( )
Remember too, my post wasn't about GS scores or Metacritic scores, my post was answering your Original Post which was this :
OP : Banjo Nuts N Bolts (X360) or R&C:TOD(PS3)? (simple question really...)
I went through my memories of the game, I posted what I recalled about which I enjoyed better...and then I checked Metacritic to see how the critics received the games at the time I played them.
I can say this, I liked Super Mario Galaxy 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Rayman Origins, New Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Galaxy 1, and Ratchet : A Crack in Time more than either of the two games in the OP.
Also, many in SW don't like certain genres. So, some stubborn fanboys may say I hate X game and Y game, and both are platformers. That particular guy loves FPS or Action games. So it's tough to get a read on TRUE PLATFORMING fans when you have so many fanboys posting nonsense in here constantly. I know some people hate Mario, Halo, God of War, Gran Turismo, Forza, Zelda, Mega man, Street Fighter, Castlevania, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Diablo, Starcraft, etc. In the end, some of them just don't like that GENRE of gaming and those users have an EQUAL VOICE with the rest of us.
Be careful too of the angry super biased fanboys that post a lot of drivel and hatred about users instead of games. They speak from ignorance, don't play these games, and have a jaded, and spotty GS posting history to prove it. ;)
Think about that. Not playing a game, but then posting in the thread asking about which game is better? Fanboys mang!
Happy gaming, I'm watching you! :P
