Nothing has ever been a greater value in gaming than the Orange Box. It still blows my mind!

IMO Orange Box wins. Half Life 2 is one of the best FPS games of all time and with the two stand alone expansions it's just made better. Portal was an innovative puzzle game that was a blast even if it was short. Team Fortress 2 is probably one of the best multiplayer games I have played and it keeps on getting better as time passes. The fact that it was basically 3 games (5 if you count the episodes) for 50$ mean it's probably one of the best gaming deals ever. I can't speak for the 360 and PS3 versions though having not played them but I hear they weren't quite as good.

well Metroid Prime is the best game out of all of them IMO

but comparing a bundle with 3 games to one with 5 games is unfair, esspecially when one has online FPS and the other doesn't

but i'd take MPT over HL2, HL2: E1, and HL2:E2.

Definitely The Orange Box.

Half Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2.

You can't find better value than that.

I'm partial to Metroid, but the Orange Box is still insane.

Metroid Prime by default. OB has short episodes that hardly count as full games for a trilogy and CoR has Vin Diesel so that's an automatic fail.

Orange Box FTW. Team fortess 2 alone Will kill The Cronicles of Riddick: Dark Athena and Metroid Prime Trilogy

Orange Box, definately. The only thing that can sweeten that deal is throwing in Half-Life 1 and Counter Strike. But, that would just be flat out greedy on our part :P.

Riddick was great when released but the new stuff did not really live up to the same quality. The Orange Box is an amazing value with some old and great new stuff in the mix. MP Trilogy has arguably the best game of last gen with 2 other titles of equal quality with slight advancements. Overall I would pick MP over Half Life but The Orange box offers more and some stuff not available before it so overall it gets the nod out of 2 must buys.

If I were listing these purely on how much I love each game, Metroid would certainly come out on top. But 5 different games with some nice variety is just too good a deal to come second.

Can't say anything about the Prime trilogy, but from what I've played so far: The Orange Box > Dark Athena. IMO Half-Life 2 has dated a lot better than Escape from Butcher Bay and the two HL2 Episodes wipe the floor with the Dark Athena campaign. Then you've got Portal and Team Fortress 2 as an added bonus... it's the clear winner.

Capcom's Triple Pack could fit too.

I'm gonna go with TOB.

Putting a game like The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena up against Metroid Prime Trilogy and The Orange Box is, in my eyes, an insult against the latter two. I haven't played Metroid Prime 3, but comparing one of the most iconic and renowned video game characters of all time (Samus Aran) to a mere one-liner-infused action guy idolized mainly by pubertal kids for being a cold and violent brute, is downright silly. Escape from Butcher Bay, on the other hand, while not as good as say, Half-Life 2 or Metroid Prime, is a great game. I found AoDA mostly dull and boring, especially towards the end. My opinion.
