seems the PC fanboys are as childish and immature as the console fanboys.

The PC version is basically the same as its console counterpart. The only thing hurting the PC version is the DRM. Other then that, it is still the same game.

It's the same game with better graphics, but the DRM is the reason for the low scores.

I'm really curious as to what the final solution to piracy will be. It will be interesting to see how Piracy on the PC is defeated or atleast severly limited. On consoles, the hardware and software is so company controlled that it's a lot easier for them to clamp out piracy, but on PC customization is the name of the game so it's a lot harder to stop piracy. Whatever the final solution is, I'm really curious to know.

The industry should be absolutely ashamed of itself that the professional review score is THAT disproportionate to the obvious value the consumers hold this game at. Reviewers are supposed to be informing us about the value of a product, instead, they cowtow and barely consider aspects that piss consumers off. Although, I qualify this with an unreserved kudos to Gamespot for not being part of that bunch.

Only problem about the user scores are that it's usually the gamers who complain about one feature who usually write reviews on the site and give scores. That said, it's very hard to justify a game breaking DRM and an extra 10 bucks slapped on just to put two crappy DLC.

What did you expect? Its the same game as the console version only

-Later Release Date

-Horrible DRM ( If their servers go down you can't play, as noted in the GS review)

-Higher Price Tag than the average PC Game

+/- Came with the DLC (Not really a positive seeing how that was the reason for the price hike...So you aren't actually gaining anything)

I'd be surprised if this sold well, or if Ubisoft even bothers making any future sequels for PC.

It should have been $40 instead of $60 considering the current price of the console versions.

It cost me the same as any other PC game, it was not more expensive.

The DRM has caused me no problems, i even got the Collectors Edition content for free because of the problems other people were having, not me. Bonus!

Game is great, mouse and keyboard controls are great.

Roll on Splinter Cell Conviction.

Your notice many games that have DRM have low scores on metacritic, amazon, etc, it means nothing to the quality of the game, plenty of people have NO issues with DRM what so ever, its just those that do are far more vocal about it.

I bet that not even half the people who voted actually played the game. I know the DRM doesn't sound like a wonder, but don't knock it till' you try it.

I think the low scores are indicative of the problems some folks are having with the DRM servers not working (which means they cant even play the game). The gameplay itself, I've heard a lot of positive feedback from. BOth consoles and PC gamers alike.
