Out of the big 3, who do you think will win E3?

How can anyone expect MS to win when all they can show is Halo 5 for like the third year in a row? Sony will destroy the competition as always...

If they show that damn Last Guardian this year's at E3, then it be a done deal.

Nintendo, I tend to take everything Microsoft and Sony announce with a pinch of salt as most of it ends up being lies and false hype.

Halo 5G, campaign. Gears of War 4 teaser, collection for later this year. Rise of the Tomb Raider. Scalebound, this could very well be the MVP of E3. Crackdown, September release. Joe Montana's Football reveal, July release. Battletoads reveal, August release.

Iffy on Resident Evil and Banjo Kazooie (for Microsoft). They're possibilities but not certainties.

Does it really matter? Will people that don't own a system buy one just for "that" exclusive which is likely in early to mid development?

You're just salty there's no Star Ocean and Dissidia coming to Xbox One. Selling 1000 copies worldwide just doesn't interest them so SE will only give shooters to the dudebros.

I look at it quite the opposite. Everyone knows that MS has the most to prove at this year's E3. The Xbone either goes big or it goes home and that has expectations high. Ever since the first XBox was launched, there's been this idea that they had to scrape through Gen6 under the shadow of the PS2 but then it was going to be their show from then on. In Gen7, in a lot of ways, they did just that. So, now with the Bone, they are actually being put to the test. Either the moneybags are real, or everything that MS and the fan(boy)s have been saying about the awesome power is just hype.

I don't look at it as a bad thing that people are expecting a rally cry from MS at E3 this year. The bar is there for the whole world to see. What MS does with those expectations is all on them.

And then you have guys like these who think that showing up at E3 with 95% cross-plat games that could be covered in a montage is "being all about the games." Frankly, I think an exec from MS could take a two hour shit on stage and they'd call it a win.

It's 2015 and Cloud or DX12 is still just a question mark because MS doesn't have much to really talk about. But, by all means, tell us all how excited we should be to watch first ever gameplay of Call of Duty. ...All about the games. Maybe we'll see some SportsSportsSports, too. Could there be an Assassin's Creed? Say it ain't so. Literally, the lamest schtick in gaming has been MSes E3 conference and no one eats it up but the Lems.

Given Microsoft's embarrassing E3 shows as of the recent years, they'll have a show that isn't so much of a show, but rather them auctioning off studios and intellectual properties. Should a IP auction occur, Sony will most definitely get out of their way to buy the Halo IP along with 343 Industries.

Meanwhile, Nintendo will continue to be Nintendo. Cue Sony owning the console market followed by the degeneration of console gaming due to a lack of competition to keep the market healthy.

I think MS will come out with some surprise titles. Sony may show God of War. I don't know what else Sony will bring, maybe a surprise? I doubt it. MS needs to have a very good showing at E3 to compete with Sony.

But I think at every E3, Nintendo has the most potential to "win" and let's be honest here, they need to. However, we know Nintendo will not be showing a trailer for Zelda, and apparently will only be focusing on titles this year. We will see a trailer for Starfox... but realistically, Nintendo should show a trailer for Zelda, Metroid, a new IP or three, and another surprise. Hell, a true 3D Mario platformer would be amazing. I expect nothing but disappointment from Nintendo at E3 this year, with the exception of Starfox.

And as a true, dedicated Nintendo fan, that saddens me.

I think all 3 companies will put on a good show at this years E3.

MS easily, they've got all the big guns lined up with a few real surprises mixed in just for good measure. Gonna be epic.

Zelda won't be at this year's E3 so for Nintendo that leaves:

Star Fox (as their main game), Xenoblade X, Yoshi, Fatal Frame, Devil's Third, Fire Emblem if, and maybe Metroid.

Certainly not enough to take away an E3 victory.

You are missing out on a lot more than Godzilla by only having an Xbox One. Them FPS/Shooters should keep you busy though.

Nintendo.. Simply because I can tell the difference with them.. Sony and Microsoft are shoveling the same product that have only become more similar to one another as time goes on.. Back in the 360 and PS3 days, each console had enough significant differences that gave them an identity.. Not so here.. Instead we have fanboys splitting hairs with a trivial difference in hardware that really does nothing in actually giving either one a real identity.. Meanwhile both sides are losing numerous exclusives, and the majority of the large release games are multiplat now..

This e3 will be important due to us knowing who has been really getting their act together. It's not the second yer going into 2016, and by now various projects should be ready for 2015 and early 2016. If we only get like 4 games releasing this year and a ton of 2016 mentions with no dates this e3 will be catastrophic beyond repair.

I'm expecting to see what Sony and MS have been doing since launch.

This e3 better be at least decent or better. There are barely any exclusives being released this year. Those 4 console exclusives are Bloodborn, Splatoon, Xenoblade X and Halo 5. The 3rd party games should be fine.

In my very honest opinion, they've all been losers these past years, so my money is that it's going to be shitty for everyone, SW will rage for maybe a week and then we'll be all back to flaming each other.

If they do that then they probably forfeit E3 this year.

Nintendo meanwhile has already confirmed that Zelda won't be at E3. Star Fox will probably finally be shown, though I doubt it'll be released this year. I'm still predicting a Mario Galaxy Remake and new Metroid Prime game to be announced.
