Out of these Sonic games, which one was the worst?

The wii version of sonic unleashed was okay(even though the gameplay was a bit reptitive in the werehog and day levels).Sonic and the black knight was garbage.Secret rings destroyed this game. I had massive control issues with the sword and when I could swing my sword properly the game felt really repetitiive.I never tried Sonic 06, but I heard that the game was a disaster.Shadow had a good story and mission structure, but the graphics in the game were mediocre,I did not like the gun gameplay and there was a small problem with the mission structure in the game.

thats sonic adventure 2 escape from the city...not sonic 06 and its hands down one of the very few 3d sonics.

It got repetitive way too fast considering you'd have to do the same level so many times, often with little to no change. The formula was kind of slow so it wasn't really fun to beat your times, so the repetition got old real fast. A

ll in all it I'd say it was still worth it though, as Devil Doom is my favorite final boss from a 3D sonic game.

And despite being cheesy I still think Shadow was badass and the theme music was awesome. Maria needed a better voice actor though. I know in general the voiceacting is pretty bad, but she was at a whole other level. Made me cringe.

I've only played Sonic 06 and Unleashed. Sonic 06 was a broken, unfinished mess of a game. Unleashed was awful as well but at least it was a finished product.

Well Sonic Unleashed was the first game to have those gameplay mechanics. It was the first with the Hedgehog Engine. No one should be complaining about that game.

Sonic 06 gets an unjustified amount of hate. It's honestly pretty damn good once you get used to the controls. It has excellent game feel. It's not perfect, but what game is? I really wish they would make another Sonic game using the same engine, but more polished and accessible. The problem is that most people suck at the game. When I watch them play and see them constantly mess up, I'm thinking to myself, "It's not that hard!" I mean, we all play games, and in most games we have to recognize patterns and tendencies and learn from them in order to win. Sonic 06 is no different. I didn't think it was that hard in Sonic 06 to recognize its tendencies and patterns. It wasn't very unpredictable.

As for Sonic Unleashed, the Sonic levels might have set the stage for Sonic Colors/Generations, but the Werehog levels were god awful and they make up the majority of the game's playtime. But then again, maybe I shouldn't say that cause you'll get butthurt and say something like, "You just suck at it herp derp!"

Lol you just suck at it. Duh.

Sonic '06, by far. It's got way too many technical problems to even count. Shadow isn't perfect technically (especially if you play the PS2 version), it's light on content, and the shooting is useless but overall the game isn't terrible. It's a 5 or 6 out of 10 for me. And I actually liked Unleashed and Black Knight (Also Secret Rings). They weren't great or anything but I think a lot of people who didn't like them just couldn't overcome their dislike of the concepts rather than the games themselves. I understand each has its problems but I consider them fun in the end, and you can clearly see how they laid the groundwork for the far better Colors and Generations.famicommander

It's not that I didn't like the Werehog concept in Unleashed. It's the execution that was bad. Had the Werehog been fast and agile, resulting in levels that were more like the daytime Sonic sections, I would have been fine with it. But the actual Werehog levels we got were sluggish, had horrible platforming mechanics, and were just extremely tedious and boring. Honestly, thinking about going through those levels make me feel slightly sick.

I remember it working for every cutscene. I definitely beat the game too.

Sonic 06 is horrible but god DAMN it's funny to watch other people play it.
