12 hours, 50+ hours, 5 Minutes, I don't know who to believe these days.

I guess the only way I will know for sure is when I'mcompletely finished withthe game.

Regardless of length it will still be an awesome game. Heavenly sword was 6 hours and I loved every second.

Believe the reviews. The thread creator is trying to spin everyone by including side quests and bonuses and replayability to the total count. Using his logic, Halo 3 would be a thousand hours because of online...and Mario Galaxy would also be 50+ to get all stars and its so fun you just keep coming back for more.

To be ownage he would have to show that every reviewer showing a lesser length has either A. cheated, or B. not actually completed the game. I can play a solitare for 1 solid year, doesn't make it a game with 1 year of realistic playtime. I think you guys just have to face that is a bit on the short side as RPGs go and move on. A short game can still be awesome (take portal for instance, I love that game, but damn is it short).

...Oh my...People will never learn, Side quests are an intrugel part of Mass Effect, infact, they are pretty much what make up most of WRPGS, how do people not understand this? Oblivions MQ was maybe 12-15 hours, yet the game has lasted me 80 hours so far on one character...How is this..Hmm...

Tycho said that he didn't go through all of the sidequests, and also that he was planning to replay the game.

Well I beat the main quest in Oblivion in about 5 hours, but the game took up around 80+ hours of my time...then I traded it in and man do I regret it.

Bingo. Unlike most fanboys, I'm not going to sit here and try to insult a game, and its developer by calling the game a flop because it is less than 15 hours. Games don't have to last a lifetime to be fun. I do think though that if they don't have online, they should have either sufficient (20~ hours) gameplay, or quality replay value (worth-while unlockables/collectables)

Thats just how I feel though. I find it funny that fanboys have been making fun of the PS3 for having all these "short" games, but when they find out one of their "ZOMGAAA+" games might not be as long as they thought, they feel the need to damage control it.

Ahh well, par for the course. I don't really care if its 5 hours or 50 hours, just go play it and enjoy it. its your $65.

As much as I agree with what you just said, I'm somebody who can't really turn down an argument :)
