This is actually very true. I heard people actually hyping this game and I was like "wtf? on drugs?" and then as soon as it became multiplat, no one cared anymore. Personally, I always thought it looked weak. Like a quick attempt to cash in on Gears. People hype even the worst games here. Most of the time they know it'll fail.
First time ever hearing about this game, and the last time I ever think of it :P.

Don't even try that. Lol, u mad? While the majority of the fanbase didn't hype it, Quantum Theory did make it into several good-sized hype threads before it was announced that the turd was going to be multiplat.

Believe it or not, I actually have this reserved. It has aspects to it that really appeal to me. Real-time level changing (the towers supposedly change), the coop moves, gameplay, etc. Has some promise to me. I'm usually pretty good at judging whether or not I'll enjoy playing a game so I think I'll keep the reservation. :)

i really didnt know what to think about quantam theory, i mean, i love gears of war, awesome games, but quantam theory just seems wayyyy too similar to gears of war for its own good, i remember the game as "a gears of war game thats not gears of war" :P

tecmo is becoming the next RARE. there current upcomming games are ALL crap. they need to be doing a ninja gaiden 3 and dead or alive 5. also quantum theory looks crap i dont knwo why they are wasting there time on this, give us nina gaiden 3 already

It directly competes with it. Have you played it ? no, you cant say a game is terrible without playing it unless something metacritic comes out with a total review score of around 50.

I've been playing games long enough to know how to gather information from resources I trust and from seeing clips of the gameplay to know that it's pure garbage. There are times when you aren't sure, but this ain't one of them. I trust my instinct ABSOLUTELY.

Damn straight.And I have no problem admitting that, just like I would have no problem admitting I made a mistake if I turn out to be wrong.
I remember being slightly interested in this game ages ago before they showed off any footage. straight after i saw it being played for the first time i completely lost interest the game looked absolutely awful.
Thats better hopefully this game fails like hell and make TK lose a lot of money so they stop trying to westernize their games and make them appeal to the westerns for more profits, for god sake most of the Japanese devs are doing this mistake this generation they should stick with their own style thats how they used to be very successful in the previous generations.

What does home have to do with this thread? nothing. he just likes to hate on sony products because he feels insecure about kinect. also, about home. yeah it was such a failure it only makes a nice profit and hasn't been removed yet. as for the topic, well vanquish isn't too bad and its kind of like gears.

RE4 was a Japanese shooter yet it got 9.6/10 and the same guy who did it is doing Vanquish its just most of Japanese devs stopped being creative this generation and they are trying to copy western devs games for appealing to west and getting more profits (Capcom, SE, TK, Bamco...etc) and they are failing.

I meant generally suck, not always. Capcom's a pretty huge exception to that with DMC, RE, Megaman, Dino Crisis, Dead Rising, and probably more I can't recall. Yeah, this whole "westernizing" thing is seriously pissing me off. I hate that word almost as much as "casual."
