It's Elgar's Serenade Second Movement. The eight note is at about 50 I'd say, but my real issue is playing alto. I know it's just a fifth but damn is it hard to take out that muscle memory of treble and bass clef

Damn... The boxed off section is in alto for sure.. Haha.. Definitely not an easy read. Isn't the center of the clef sign your C? That would put each pitch only a step off from Treble.... May be a good start to staff recognition anyway. Obviously the trick is to memorize the clef though, which admittedly isn't easy.
