I can get an N64 for $20 and Paper Mario for $10 off ebay. Why the hell would you spend an extra $220+tax and $15 just to play a 10 year old game? Not to mention it's always better to play an old game on it's orignal platform.

Because old consoles tend not to work and the controllers are usually dirty and buggy from so much use. I have literallypurchased at most6 controllers per genon all of my Nintendo consoles over the years because they get so much use and a lot of abuse. Nice to know that my GC controllers still work though but I want wireless ones and should consider getting some before they are gone.

You probably wasn't around when this game came out. Back then, these graphics were impressive, even when compared to PS2 games at the time. (The PS2 was already released, but the GCN and Xbox where still about 10 months away)
