So far call of duty has not hit shores yet until November early but from the information i have found it seems pc users on 'call of duty black opps will get a ripoff of a deal with this'According to GameServers' , ranked servers will cost $14.95 a month for an 18 max player limit. Discounts are offered for monthly prepays. Unranked servers will cost $0.99 a month per player up to maximum of 24. Teamspeak support will have an additional fee. Discounts will be offered for a 3, 6, and 12 month prepay. Treyarch Community Manager said this partnership will provide high-quality private servers at an affordable rate for the game and re-emphasized Treyarch-hosted dedicated servers dedicated servers will remain free.So far it's so uncertain if any pc gamer will put up with this greedy activision stamp.While it also is uncertain if consoles that use p2p file sharing over servers to play games will be able to host 'locally' without any interruption of private matches, or laggy dedicated matches this i am uncertain will happen,What Should happen is tho the xbox owner pays alot for a membership isn't it fair to at least host your own private game, if you can rank up in offline black ops why not local mode,Tho this is still not yet certain if trueThe question is what will you be playing call of duty black opps on,Console:PC:both will have their strengths and weaknesses, from paying something like 14.95 for only one game mode for just 1serveror console that will support no local host, i could be wrong

Yeah someone pays for the servers but not your average pc gamer. all it takes is for 5% of the games population to create and pay for servers and you have anywhere from 5-8k servers to play on. Plus who needs team speak when most game allow you to use a headset and chat through the game. Unless your clan battleing and stuff but with games like bfbc2 you don't even need it.

But with Bad Company 2 you get 32 player servers that are ranked... In this you only get 18 player servers if the OP is correct...

I will probably end up getting it for the PC and 360. All my friends game on the 360, but I like the game better on the PC, so getting it for both systems is a must for me.

Neither actually , i will not be buying another CoD after the horrible experience i had with MW2 , and to be honest i can not tell the difference between MW2 and black ops the look exactly the same .

Depends on the specific server, some you can play to reserve slots or the owners will reserve slots but there is pretty much always a good deal of free slots unless there's a clan battle or practice session

I always wanted to play in internode servers so many gamesand free. :( just hope black opps will be on there, question is is internode willing to negotiate a deal withactivision lol im sure, as servers are not free,.
