Lately we hear a lot from PC devs crying how piracy is hurting them...But instead of knocking the pirates door (who in absence of piracy wouldnt have bought the games anyway, they would simply hack a console and pirate there)....what they should do is go to the hardware manufacturers and ask for a share....Think about it none of the pirates is breaking in hardware store to steal GPUs CPUs etc,....They cannot download GPUs off the net so they PAY full price for the hardware....Now think about this: An UBER PC at $2000 with 20 pirated games on it costs to the pirate just those 2 grand....A console gamer with 20 games plus the console hits like $1500 give or take....and thats just these 20 games...with 30 games its like $2100...Now the pirate saved that $1000 the developer saw NOTHING of these money instead this money went straight to AMD/ATI-Nvidia-Intel etc....So the software cash is being funneled to hardware...Last Crytek instead of moaning and crying go to Nvidia and ask for a share of those GPUs that Nvidia pushed because of Crysis....
