lets look at the developers that ruined their awsome games by going after the console market and "dumbing down" their games

we had Morrowind...and then Oblivion (which was dumbed down)

we had Crysis..... and then Crysis 2 and 3 (dumbed down)

any more

When will people realize that Crysis being on consoles didn't necessarily made the game that way? it was more a decision on their part to have the game made that way in the first place. Crysis 2 could have been like crysis one and been on the consoles. Games like Far Cry 3 prove that it can be done no problem. Just becaus Crytec sucks doesn't mean you gotta blame it on the target audience.

Crysis like game could never be on the consoles. Crysis on the consoles is the proof of that. Far Cry 3 is a pretty bad example. Both play very differently.

it's just literally impossible for you to defend that argument right there.

I just did. Crysis triology on consoles if a proof of that RIGHT THERE and we have the devs remarks to back them up as well.

That doesn't make any sense when there's games available for the system that do open world FPS. Crytec sucks, that's just how it is.

None of it does what Crysis does. All the suits powers were butchered for consololes crowd. Game went from being open world to corridors, since it couldn't be done on consololes. No, Far Cry 3 is not a proof that Crysis can be done on consololes. Crysis maps were far far bigger. Have different environments all together. FC3 is pretty much your regular run to gun game with skyboxes, low draw distance, no long range battles and did I remind you that everything in Crysis was interactive. FC3 didn't and neither the Crysis sequels.

what kind of crack are you on? Crysis 1 is even on consoles. Yes they can make a game like Crysis on console it'll just look like crap but by all means it won't ruin the gameplay or anything and they can just tune it up for PC to look better and that's it.

Hahahahahahahaha...........Crysis on consoles plays nothing like Crysis on PC. It even has a whole level removed. Crysis on consoles is the best reason why Crysis could never be done on consoles. You seriously are a joke.Won't waste my time with you after that dumbest of the dumbest argument.

From my experiences playing both Far Cry 3 and Crysis (both on the PC), Far Cry 3 is bigger. I did a "fast run" on foot in Far Cry 3, cutting across on a straight line whenever possible. I ran continuously for 22 minutes and that's just the first island. I haven't done a "fast run" on the second island yet because I'm replaying the SP campaign. There's also the waters between the two islands that are not accounted for.

Crysis on the other hand..... A "fast run" for each of the first five levels average around 6 minutes (and trying to keep a straight line if possible). There are also many areas in Crysis that are closed off to the player unlike in Far Cry 3 where just about every inch of the playground can be reached by the player.

There's long range battles in Far Cry 3 if you pick a fight with the snipers and RPG carriers. Heck. One of them even got me while I was high up on a hang glider. That one pissed me off.

He's just a blind PC fanboy.... he doesn't understand it's a developers thing not hardware. It's sad considering he pretends he knows about computers but can't put 1 and 1 together so i honestly just gave up on him. If Far Cry 3 was PC exclusive you'll see all the hermits jerking off to it.
