PC-Exclusive Divinity Original Sin II gets a 10 here in GS

As much as I enjoyed Far Cry (3 & 4), it doesn't come close to what BOTW does. Far Cry is more like Horizon: Zero Dawn, rather than BOTW. And here's a video comparison showing how much BOTW outshines Horizon:

Divinity Original Sin 2 could be a greatest game in the last 20 years and it wouldn't win, the game is rigged. It's full of console centric gaming journalists. Many with a extreme bias for Nintendo and a begrudging acknowledgement of pc gaming. Heck, watching the Gamespot broadcast almost immediately the first concern was a console port - they don't want to play it on pc.

Only need to look back to the now (deserved) dead Gametrailers to see how bias the media are. Less bias and more unmitigated, unrepentant propaganda.

There is quite abit of blatant ass-kissing of Zelda as well, people unwilling to think objectively. Declaring it better even though they haven't touched Divinity Original Sin 2 to actually objectively judge it.

The main aspect people praised, freedom. Divinity does better, that's not up for debate.

Deserved I'm sure. Playing through the enhanced version of the first before I start the second. I'm amazed at what Larian added to the enhanced version. Can't wait to see what they will add to D:OS2 Enhanced Version if they do make one.

It's practically a given they'll port it to PS4 as an enhanced edition. If they fix the minor things like update the journey, it's as close to perfection a game can get.

@SolidGame_basic: I think the game works best on PC. It's the type of game that will be most enjoyable using a mouse and keyboard, but there are talks already of PS4 and Xbox One ports. Heck, even a Switch port is possible.

Reminder: DOS II is and INDIE game. Incredible.

@knight-k: I feel like maybe the way you're approaching positive discussion about the game is probably going to do more harm than good for its reputation.

Video games aren't a zero sum game; nor is the enjoyment meant to be mutually exclusive.

I havent been a fan of this type of rpg for a while but all the positivity around it might make me buy it at some stage.
