PC exclusives vs PS3 exclusives for 2011

ps3. the only pc exclusive that i plan on getting right now is witcher 2 and diablo 3. i'm not even sure if diablo 3 is coming out this year. Batang_X990

Battlefield 3 is going to be a Battlefield clone multiplayer wise.

Also, with Mount and Blade: Fire and Sword, Witcher 2, Stone of Ages, Dead State (God willing), Portal 2 (PC version is best version), plus I'm stilling playing the hell out of Warband, TF2, and SC2, along with other older games I look to pick up this year, I'll be sticking with PC for the most part.

Except Infamous 2... Sucker Punch is pretty much the only reason I have a PS3 :3 Here's to Sly 4!

LPB2

Killzone 3

Yakuza 4

Motorstorm

Socom 4

MLB 11

It has been a very good year.

The majority of those games have descriptions and justifications, like "sequel to AA game" or "by developer of some well known game". :| The point in having 90+ games is that they are of enough variety that everyone would find a handful to enjoy, every game has an audience somewhere unless its shovel ware, saying that having more variety is padding and fanboyism sounds like a pretty poor excuse in trying to justify why your platform of choice is better. 110million

You know those are just excuses. You won't play most of those games. I am basing which system is winning by what they have released. And so far, the PS3 has done the best this year. At the end of the year, those 90+ game will mostly be irrelevant. There is a list of over 100 games that came out in 2010, and only a few really good PC games are recognized. Why is that? Why aren't we talking about the hundreds of exclusives that came out for PC in 2010?

Good luck finding solid numbers for PC exclusive game sales. Steam doesn't even release numbers, so you might wanna start searching those publisher reports... Good luck.

True. The costs of pc gaming is offputting to many folks. I own numerous computers for editing and animating and could game on them, if I wished, but I just don't enjoy the experience, or many of the games.
