Um no. Gears PC had some of the worst controls ever in terms of PC games. Mainly because Gears was designed for a controller. Of course if you have a USB gamepad it's all good. Anyways, it was also insanely buggy (sometimes didn't even start up) and the only real thing it had going for it was the UnReal Ed. The extra act/chapter (I forgot which), was nothing special, especially with Gears 2 on the way.

EDIT: My bad, misread your post there. I thought you said the PC version was better.

The controls were so superior on pc the game was too easy. From headshotting to active reload, too easy. They should have dropped the context sensitive buttons for kb/mouse users since there are so many more buttons available.

It was one of the buggiest ports of all time though.

Like my Powersupply, DVD burner, I had a 7900GT( I had to send it in because it woulndt work with vista so they sent me a 7950GX2), and 2Gb of ram. But my newest stuff I bought which was in august is my Q6600, case, HDD, mobo, and G9 mouse. Which if added together would probably be around $500. But I would say I spend around $500 a year on my PC but the only new thing I plan on buying is a GPU which im gunna try and sell my 7950GX2 on ebay since I can get around $250 for it. I dont really see myself spending a lot of money on my rig this year since all I really want is a nicer GPU and then my coomputer should last me awhile. Maybe pick up another 1gb of RAM since its really cheap.

Age of Conan doesn't seem like it's going to be great, but hey, it's your taste.

That's actually not really expensive at all. You see, I asked because Spore is coming up, and I want to have a cheap yet high-end PC to enjoy the game at it's fullest. Thanks for the info.

Why would anyone spend $250 on a used 7950gx2 when they can get an 8800gt which is twice as fast for under $250 brand new?

well i happen to be a "hermit" and i love GOW(the MP actually) i would of had more hours on xfire for GOW but i sometimes I forget to start xfire :P I hope that GOW2 comes out on pc months later..not a year...(i really doubt that though)

yeah.. but live list is messing up... it shows 387 servers up but only 5 or 10 come up....live player and ranked is working perfect though... a bunch of ppl are always on

Oh the hyporcisy! Sure, it didn't work as well as on pad, but it still controls much better than any PC FPS ever ported to 360, including especialy the FEAR and OrangeBox. So when the controls sucks on 360 pad it's allright, but when put on PC it's not allright anymore, despite giving far less troubles than pad controls in FEAR and OB :D

I don't see your point? PC gamers already know there going to get the game if a hermit bashes the game they have a right to considering it will be there's eventually.
