HL2 is an ok game nothing special, ive been in a boat for like an hour now, keep running, get off the boat, solve a puzzle to open the big gate so you can go through, get back in the boat, do this stuff for like 20 more times then dodge helicopter bombs for 20 times....finally the boat part is over yay i just hope there isnt anymore boatpart for the rest of the game.....Crysis must be overrated too like HL2mingo123

Yeah that part of HL2 was miserable. But the game gets better later on trust me. The best level is the "We dont go to Ravenholm" level. Actually itsone of the best levels i have ever played (in any game)

Well it is the third game to get a 98%, the first was Aplha Centauri, and the other is Half Life 2 (as you already said). I was seeing it getting a 8, here, but PC Gamer giving it a 98%, I can really see it getting a 9.5. I am happy I preordered Crysis.

A friend of mine just built a new gaming PC for $350 and he runs Crysis at 45fps on Medium settings.

0_o umm,1950 owns fear, dont dis somthing which you obviously know nothing about, i could max fear on my old 7600gt at 30/35fps

oh yeah, and i am also in the '5%' i played the beta at midish settings on my 7600gt and it still looked awesome

Thats funny, the demo was running fine on my 1 core cpu and 768MB RAM

pc monitors can do higher resolutions then HD TV's, hes giving you the resoution that hes playng the game on , since thats customizable on the PC. i ussualy play games on 1440x900 here

Same here, except I have 1024mb RAM, one of the 512 sticks is actually pretty erratic and doesn't work properly sometimes, and it still runs fine.

People just try to downplay success because they're afraid.

I myself will be buying this along with CoD4.

A 20" 1050 P monitor ( 1650 x 1050 ) .

However at that native rez the game gets slightly choppy, so I sacrifice the superb 1050 P for 768 instead for smooth gameplay, I'm not that bothred by it :)
