PC gamers apparently "convert" but console gamers just "debate&qu

Due to some other threads here lately it's becoming more and more apparent that consolites here either can't see bad behaviour in themselves or they are just hypocrites. I will be the first to admit that PC gamers go a little overboard with the whole "elite" thing. But when PC gamers enter a thread and say how great the games are on their system and how great the system itself console guys go off on one and say that PC gamers are trying to convert them to PC or "recruit" them to their side. But when a PS3 ownder enters a thread and claims their exclusives are the best ever and the PS3 (I say PS3 gamers cos they are the loudest these days) is the most powerful console and claim superiority it's shrugged off as just normal SW banter. And don't say they don't because we have all seen it.

It seems to me that all factions do this behaviour and it's fine but it also seems that console gamers are the loudest when it comes to complaints and somehow manage to put PC gamers under a different category with this stuff when they themselves do the exact same things

So are they hypocrites or do they actually think PC gamers do something different to them?

It's very obvious all the finger pointing is useless,all factions here have their nice share of hypocrisy and stupidity.

All accusations made towards hermits can be easily applied to any other faction...

Yes, but how often do you guys actually discuss the advantages of your system, and specifically, how they translate into a more enjoyable experience? Way more often, all I see is peasant/master race, stubbornly repeating that their opinion is fact, and assuming that deviation from their preferences must be due to a personal defect. Actual discussion of the user experience itself is almost nonexistent.

That said; I agree that their is no attempt at recruitment. Quite the opposite, it's been explicitly stated that we're not wanted or welcome.

From my experience,this place is always fanboy wars,at some point most threads end up being about platform/game fans,instead about the platform/game itself. It also usually results in a flame war...

As for your comment,I do agree with the point that good graphics can't save a game with broken gameplay mechanics...

However,I also must add that good graphics can make an already good game much better.As gamers,we all wish for modern games to looks as good as possible,and to be eye-pleasing.No denying that...
