Ok, because of you (and the fact that I am utterly bored), I decided to test you little "theory". I ran Winamp 5.52 which is FREE, and I had Supreme Commander running and playing a skirmish with the highest detail my GPU possibly can. And on top of it, I opened the biggest picture in my pictures folder. Here are the results-

Supreme Commander-

CPU=42%

Mem=199,000Kbs out of 2GB

Winamp-

CPU=0%

Mem=8,000Kbs out of 2GB

Total-

CPU=42%

Mem=207,000kbs or .207GBs out of 2 GB

Also, my keyboard has this neat little button at the top that when you press it, the music pauses :shock:! Even more impressive is that you press it again and the music starts back up! I also have a neat little button labeled volume, but I won't go into too much detail because you won't be able to understand it anyways.

Hate MMORPGS, shooters are better on PC obviously but other than that, I still see more Medieval/RTS games on the PC for 2008.

Well for a bloke like me who likes games that shoot for a realistic feeling to be reealistic PC is the platform to own.

I will give you three games and i beg of you to give me a console counterpart:

-Flight Simulator X and the likes (IL-2, Lock On, X-Plane; i even bought a HOTAS joystick for them),

-GTR2 (most realistic car simulation, you can even get MoTec i2 interpreter used in REAL RACINGto analize you track progress; i use the joystick until i get a G25, manual transmision and manual clutch)

and

-ArmA (one of the most realistic combat simulations ever).

The only diversity is seemingly from PS3 and 360 games. Give me a exclusives list of non-medieval, non-rts games (including non-isometric view).

FSX is really cool, I would like to try that but I doubt I would play it long.

Goldeneye came out for N64 around 1998 I believe.

I have 2 monitors, so i can look at pretty pictures on teh second one while looking at my play list and shooting at poeple.
