[QUOTE="soulsofblayck"][QUOTE="karasill"][QUOTE="soulsofblayck"] [QUOTE="karasill"][QUOTE="soulsofblayck"]It's simply a matter of preference. I would never get a PC because I hate RTS and Medieval styled games, which is the core of most PC games no matter what way you cut it. The point and click adventure games usually get lukewarm reviews. Sorry, I'd rather have 360 with Banjo and NG2 than PC/RTS. Also, I DID play Sins of a Solar Empire, CC3 and CIVIV thus, I can safely say I find RTS games boring as hell.Archang3l_666
No, just no.Name them, I'm really interested and yes, I've seen that 2008 list.
You missed shooters and sim type games. You missed mmorpg's and racers as well. The only type of games that the PC lacks are platformers, jrpg's, and fighters. Other then that it has an abudunt supply of every type of game.Hate MMORPGS, shooters are better on PC obviously but other than that, I still see more Medieval/RTS games on the PC for 2008.
Well for a bloke like me who likes games that shoot for a realistic feeling to be reealistic PC is the platform to own.
I will give you three games and i beg of you to give me a console counterpart:
-Flight Simulator X and the likes (IL-2, Lock On, X-Plane; i even bought a HOTAS joystick for them),
-GTR2 (most realistic car simulation, you can even get MoTec i2 interpreter used in REAL RACINGto analize you track progress; i use the joystick until i get a G25, manual transmision and manual clutch)
and
-ArmA (one of the most realistic combat simulations ever).
FSX is really cool, I would like to try that but I doubt I would play it long.
I will still probably buy a PC anyways because I miss LAN parties though.
