Not if you have the right software and don't visit Pron every day. All you need is a solid firewall like Outpost Pro 4, which has spyware protection built-in. Use Firefox with NoScript and Adblocker and run CCleaner and RegSeeker everyday and you won't have any issues.

I've done this and haven't had a problem in years. I take snapshot images of my hd for backups but don't need to really. The days of restoring windows is behind us with a some logical reasoning.

A PC gamer would know how to avoid clicking on unknown links, having siteadvisor to telling you what sites are malicious, and not saving attachments in Emails. The victims of those viruses and pop ups are usually the computer illiterates who do not deserve to be a PC gamer

Not that I'm crazy about Xbox 360 but.. there was vids awhile back on Alan Wake and the dev was talking about how you had to have a quad core to get the same effects...basically a very high end PC that even mine couldn't max out. Now.. he further explains that Xbox 360 will be the primary platform for this juggernaut.

Yeah, I know on a technical level that the PC will look better at the time of release but my point is that I'm willing to bet that Alan Wake on 360 will not only look better but have better physics than anything currently on PC at this time. So NO your maxed UT3 isn't a full gen ahead of consoles.

Well in some ways it does. But I think its a matter of preference in games. I can't get FFXIII, MSG4, GT5, KZ2, etc....

People proved many times that Crysis doesn't only have good graphics but also amazing gameplay (even early previewers say so). We have a lot to talk about that is coming out eventually. Here's a few:

- Gears of War

- Assasin's Creed

- Obviously Crysis

- Hellgate London

- Unreal Tournament 3

- Call of Duty 4

- Star Craft 2 (even though it's a long way before it comes out lol)

- Blacksite: Area 51
