PC gaming is irrelevant

If you're not some overweight nerd into RTS, MMOs and Mobas PC has absolutely no advantage over console.

Consoles are more affordable and accessible. They offer more bang for your buck compared to building a PC from scratch.

MP games almost always have bigger communities on console than PC. You don't have to worry as much about hackers ruining your games online. Playing with a controller while sitting back on the couch is much better than being hunched over a desktop clicking a mouse.

Consoles (PS4 and Switch at least) also have much better exclusives. 90+ rated exclusives that win GOTY awards. When was the last time PC had a notable exclusive?

Also owning a physical game collection and having access to those games forever is much better than buying games digitally on PC and losing the licenses when/if the service you buy them on ever shuts down.

If you don't own a PS4 your not a gamer, that's the mentality nowadays. That includes people who have PS4 AND other systems because why bother with other systems when you have a PS4..

To your MP community point, PC is where games go to stay alive. Thankfully, the MP community for games like Dark Souls II SotFS are still active because of PC.

Also to your "affordable" point, you know that you don't need to buy a fucking overpriced RTX card to get 60+ FPS? Where do console fanboys get this idea that every PC gamer is using the most expensive card out there? An RX 570,RX 580 or GTX 1060 is easily enough. If you want to outperform the Pro or X, you can get a 1070 or Vega 56.

PC gaming was big in the 90's remember lan parties and playing games in the computer labs

its dead now its been dying since then it had true exclusives like quake 3 arena and killer apps everywhere now consoles are king of games

And Battle Royal (the biggest new genre, created from PC and still most played on PC). And FPS. And Racers.

1. 99% of multiplats are better on PC. This encompasses most video game releases.

2. Metacritic, 2013-2018 PC: 410 high scoring games. PS4: 296 high scoring games.

3. Online Gaming.

Having the most games, and the best version of most games, and the best online. Is a huge advantage. Perhaps this is why so many more people game on PC?

League of Legends alone has more players than the entirety of PS4 PSN. CS:GO. Overwatch has more players. PubG has more players. Fortnite has more players. These are the most played games on the planet, and it's done on PC.

Any one particular's consoles community is a fraction of PCs. Same goes for their online libraries.

List PS4s highly played online titles. The PC list will be several times more, with more genres to boot.

PC has higher revenue ever than before.

PC has more gamers ever than before.

PC has more games ever than before.

It has never been declining.

The irony of you calling gamers nerds while simultaneously having over 12k posts on a gaming forum. Consoles are not more affordable when you factor in games and peripherals plus having to pay for an online multiplayer subscription. Some games have bigger communities on console because there aren't as many games to play on console, we know that PC have more gamers on the platform than all consoles combined. There are hackers on console and it's not every PC game that has hackers actually it's a minority. Sorry but you cannot use Metacritic for your comparisons when it comes to review scores as we know that PC reviewers and console reviewers are different. The consoles have their own biased media boosting up their MC score.

I havent touched my ps4 for 2 weeks, been playing quake champions since it went F2P, and some Octopath on the side. Hopefully Spiderman is not a bust I'm about to sell it.
