[QUOTE="No_Talent_Dev"]I think the people that play WoW should also get into WiiFitGhettoTaxii

More WoW bashing ... I'd like to see half of these so called console RPG fans try and get anywhere in world of warcraft, time-sink aside it requires heavy discipline and teamwork / awareness ...

Something void in nearly every single JRPG ever created.

heavy discipline and team-work? u can solo the entire game if you want, dont even get me satrted. a game like ffxi you are in parties from the time you start to the time you quit, not to mention dying a LOT along the way. anway, sims is on consoles too, and wow is just something that people with no lives play, pssh getting 70 is a big waste of time

Yep, now try soloing Zul Gurub , Molten core , Blackwing Lair , Naxxaramas, The Eye, Karazahn, Gruuls Lair , Onyxia's Liar, Magtheridon's Lair, The Black Temple let alone the 5 man instances...

The only reason PC is bashed so much on these forums is because "hermits" barely exist on here at all. The fact of the matter is - PC gaming is wildly popular, and its games are still amazingly good, despite many of the most popular ones been over 8 years old.

PC gaming is Korea is pracitcally a national sport.

There are over 8 million people subscribed to WoW...(thats more than what Halo 2 sold...)

Counter-Strike, Half-Life, Unreal Tournament, Tribes and many others are considered to be the best FPS games ever made.

PC is the only platform you get access quality RTS on. Starcraft, a 10 year old game, still has a large playing userbase.

The PC is mass market, as most people have one in their home anyways, gamer or not. And that's how they become gamers, they play flash games on websites or solitare.

The PC is the best medium for all your media needs, and no 360 or PS3 even step close to the PC in that respect. People on here worship XBL because you can download stuff. Um, hi, I have the internet on PC -- all i need thanks, it's been around for quite some time - you should try it out.

Does it have the widest variety in games? no. But for what it does as a media machine, it offers some epic gaming experiences on the side, and offers limitless cutomization to its users so it will always be the most powerful system on the market.

As a PC gamer, I still play my consoles for certain games. As a console gamer, maybe you guys should give the PC some more play. Afterall, the best gaming experience is when you play all the systems.

The point most PC fanboys do not realise is that 90% of PC games do not sell enough to make even a small profit. Steam which is the largest distribution veichile on the internet has tons of users yet struggles to make serious profit. Like it or not the gaming industry is dictated by sales and the fact is that the vast majority of PC games fall short in that department which puts companies off developing for the platform. Of course there are exceptions but there are too few exceptions to make it successfull. Casual games are relitively successfull but hardcore games have it a lot worse whereas on consoles like the 360 or PS3 if these games are good they will more than likely sell well.
