PC Gaming makes me laugh on system wars

Shungo the whole thread was a generalization about what is said about PC gaming on system wars you know that right?

A lot of people still talk about PC you just fail to realize this. There are tons of people talking about Crysis, C&C3, and Stalker.

No one will point out the flaws in my post because for the most part everyone agrees with it. Although TekkenMaster did have some note worthy points to disagree on.

Blackbond, so much win packed into a single thread. I salute you.

Though I kinda disagree on point #2 about Blu-ray, since it's irrelevant because PCs have HDDs.

First off I think he uses a rather sweeping brush and assumes it is the same people saying the same things. Those people praising the Graphics of Killzone are not necessarily the same people bagging on Crysis' graphics.

PC holds itself back just as much as any console could because game designers (if the want to achieve descent sales) are forced to make the game scalable to much less powerful PCs.

As to the controllers that is purely down to personal preference and sure you can attatch any controller you want but the games are not designed for them. (Imagine UT04 on a controll pad! :?)

Xbox live does have some advantages over PC online gaming, again a lot of it would be down to personal preferences.

PC gaming is expensive if you are solely wanting it for gaming just like the PS3 is expensive if you are not really interested in Blu-Ray movies. The reason a lot of people don't include their HDTVs in their gaming costs is because they weren't bought for gaming.

The PC is the ultimate in 'backwards compatibility.' But it's a pain dealing with 3.5" floppy disks these days...

Except that so far in this gen Pc has completely dominated the racing genre :D Plus we do own the 2D platformers subgenre :) Anyway, obviouqsly both PC and console specialise in diffrent games. I couldn't live without simulators, strategy or adventure genres, so PC is the only choice for me, you obviously feel the same about jRPGs, fighters or action-adventure, so consoles are the choice for you.

WooHoo..That's why I'm not a fanboy, they make a topic like this one to look dumb.

I play on my pc CS,Doom,Quake 3.4, etc.. etc..  but console is way different from a PC!

Like i said topics like this is useless, and there's not even one point when a fanboy try to be right!

As much as I enjoy my 360, nothing can compete with the 4 years i dedicated to just ONE game on the pc. The mighty Diablo II.

You don't need a good PC to play good PC games. PC gaming will always rule. Period.

PC gaming does change the rules, which is why some threads and comparisons are better served to be just between the consoles. There was a poll a few days ago about whether or not UT3 would be better on360 or PS3. Thousands of people spammed "PC" and ruined what was a very close and interesting thread. The reason the PC wasn't a choice is because everyone already knows it will be the best version.

There are definitely instances where excluding the PC from a thread can be beneficial, I just wish that PC gamers would realize that and not think the thread is purposely being anti-PC.

Like I stated in step 3. Console gamers that dislike PC will always use more then 1 console to try and gang up on the PC because no one console can stand against it alone. Seriously what's so good about PC gaming if you have a 360 or a PS3? The same things that will always make it so good. Just because you have two systems doesn't make the PC just disappear. But if you don't want one then don't get one. I'm not telling you to buy one. But people like you just prove the point my thread is making.
