They're only useful for a couple of things, but many will dismiss their numbers. Advocacy groups and all that.

And now the console guys will arrive and start blasting why its stupid. Like I have always said, PC guys always use facts and figures to show why PC is better. All console guys do is use opinions and tastes and insults when the numbers show otherwise.

I will keep this info for further debates. And finally Noodle a thread I don't hate you for :P

Some certainly do. I had a debate with peolple who certainly made good points regarding advocacy groups.

Most games that we play sell better on console. BF franchise is the only current exception. Bf on pc sells nowhere near what halo or cod does on console thoughCranler

To Say PC gaming is dying is as idiotic to say console games are all about COD and halo, both will keep growing before you can see the end of it. But in this generation, console has some truly gene defining exclusives, dark souls/demo souls/RDR, PC while lack good exclusives, but the modification options on certain games, crysis, crysis2, GTAIV, skyrim etc. give players more than what they paid for.

They would have their games on a game holding stand they only have acouple new pc games because they just got into pc gaming.

pc gamers dont pack away old games like console gamers.

Because more people have consoles. Most console gamers buy the games to play an hour or two a day after work or college and don't get serious about it. but PC gamers invest a lot of time and effort into their games. You sit down and play consoles for an hour or two and it's easy to detach from it. Not so much with PC. Time disappears when you play on PC. And lots of people will tell you that
