PC Gears of War better and upgraded

Epic's back in a big way for PC Gamers as the new version will feature 5 new levels all taking place before the last battle in the game. Also, game will ship with some tweaks and an all important editor that will surely be worth the price of admission. Top that all off with an all new multiplayer mode and the PC just ran away with the goodies.

This will all be exclusive to the PC version only , as confirmed in the video below by editor Shawn Elliot of Games for Windows Magazine:

This new version is supposed to have a ton of new features too.

I think you'd have to pay to play against 360'ers. the usual way they do it is free pc to pc but you have to pay to play against 360's. but I'm not sure if it'll have cross platform like shadowrun

I don't think so, as Epic would have to balance the game for M/K and controller. Plus, with all the new maps and users created content, there's no way you will be able to play between platforms. Also, expect total conversion mods of the game(see video I posted). I'm putting my copy of Gears 360 on ebay as we speak :P

What I wanna know is how much "New content" is there gonna be? Im not gonna plunk down $50.00 for a game, that is basically the same. It better have CRAP LOADS of new content, or they can keep it.

Watch the video that you quoted. All content is exclusive to the PC version, and it's coming this year, and will be featured on the front cover of Games For Windows Magazine on July 24th.

Considering GeoW was originally being show cased on high-end PC's before it even came out on 360, I doubt you'll need an 8800 to run it maxxed out. Not to mention the PC version will look better maxxed out. So to match the 360 version your not going to need a "monster" rig......

who pays $3000 for an HDTV unless you are getting something over 70 inches...you can get one decent sized 1080p for under $1000

Not really. Even if the game turns out better on the PC, they still end up selling more on the consoles.

Not all these games end up on the PC. I have yet to see Forza 2,Blue Dragon, PGR4, Banjo 3, Mass Effect or Eternal Sonata get announced for the PC.
